Very nice collection you have there. I would love to get to that many Blu-rays but i will take a very long time if ever. I went crazy for a while but due to money issues i have gotten maybe 5 in the past 3 months.

Are you actually gonna watch all those blu-rays or are they just gonna sit on your shelf? I love blu-ray but that's way too many. You'll regret it when the next format comes out.

Woah, 869 discs already? That has to be the vast majority of major studio releases available. Though realistically most of those films will never be watched, I can never see the point in picking up releases like Big, Coming To America, My Cousin Vinny, Last Action Hero etc (to name just a few I spy on one row) as to me they're grand for watching when they're on TV or maybe a rent but not an actual purchase. Unless the money aspect doesn't really bother you that much

I think you can survive with 400+ Blu-rays.

I will get to them all eventually. And don't tell that to the 4,000+ DVD's I still have in my collection. I was going to get to them as well. And still might.

I have just under 400 discs that I am either being lazy about buying or waiting to drop to a decent price to pick up. I don't find a single title in my stash, "glorified rental material," as you put it. The person who buys titles to buy titles is a douchebag tool. If I didn't enjoy it enough to archive it.... It wouldn't be there. Period.

I don't think that is even close to the majority. You seriously under estimate the current number of discs released. I don't even think I am at 30% from that aspect.

That's fair enough, it's just my own opinion on those particular films. Hell, if I had the capabilities to buy all those (and the time to watch them ) I certainly would have that many! Being a student prevents me for buying much though. I also said it was the majority of major studio releases, there's bound to be thousands of discs released already on a myriad of smaller labels and companies.
