Received my Todd Slater Stargate today. It was worth the wait. I was surprised it was an AP and a low number at that.

Didn't see it mentioned, but General Mills cereal is giving away mini posters for Star Wars 1-6 In specially marked boxes. Just got Return of the Jedi yesterday.
Measures 11"x17".

Got Ant Man in today from DMR. Decent condition some of the edges are torn a little though.

Was expecting it to be single sided so I was happy to see it was double sided.

Yeah SDCC had a mini-version they were giving away, I believe they are 13x19 or thereabouts. If Fathom Events is doing it, they may not produce an original 27x40 version or they may only print enough for the screenings. I am still looking into it and will report back if I hear anything.

Just don't use cardboard as the backing in those frames, cardboard is very acidic and breaks down over time and can stain the back of your posters. Always use acid-free backing foam board. Just an FYI...

Tell me more about this foam board please. Is it something you can buy in say a Michael's? Does it come in 27x40 or does it have to be cut? I have all my Marvel/ Disney posters in those cheap $20 Wal-Mart frames until up can make some light boxes. Am I asking for trouble?

Hmm... this worries me now too as I have put some of my Mondo and Disney posters in regular frames without a second thought as to the backing of them!

I did find this at my local Michaels, sadly it's a tad too small for 27x40

Go to an art store and have them cut foam core backings to the sizes you need and just replace them. A cheap poster is fine but I wouldn't mess with your Mondo prints.

Yes, you can buy a variety of sizes at a Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

I'm thinking of buying some new frames. Getting more posters than I have room for. The place I bought my last ones should still be in business.

Also when you guys switch out posters are you just rolling the old ones up and putting them back in the cardboard tube?
