Going to sit this one out. Rather wait till the next B2G1 where you save about an additional 15% instead of B1G1 50% and hope music is included as well especially since i always place large orders during these sales and the extra savings is huge! Besides, i have Criterion, Shout, Kino and Arrow sales on the horizon. If you are only ordering a few titles than this is a good deal. Large orders ,not so much.

Does anyone know why my total purchase amount goes up when I use gift cards to pay?

I'm trying to use three gift cards in my account with different amounts and when I use them at checkout the total price goes up by $2.50+

Just curious as to why.

Also noticed that some of the newer Shout releases like Frankie Freako didn't qualify for the sale when it went live. Wonder if they will be included later in the week...

Anyways, ended up spending less as a result, which is a good thing for me.

if you have a redcard on your account, you no longer get the 5% off on the portion of your order using the gift cards.

I'll cancel and reorder preorders if there's B2G1, but these prices are decent enough for 2025, plus I have a $10 back Circle offer if I spend $75, which is also why I bought some HB titles from them instead of HB (and Shape of Night went out of stock there).

Ugh! The Panic Room steelbook sold out while I was building my order. I wasn't going to get a ton of stuff during this sale, but a few things I had saved in my cart are either sold out or no longer available and now Panic Room sold out! We'll see if I find anything else, I guess.

Their movie prices are so ridiculous that this sale seems pointless to me.

A few of the newer standard releases form Deaf Crocodile are available for PO. As uch as I love me some rigid cases, that might be the way to go to build my collection.

Sadly, it's not just Target's prices. Have you seen MU lately? Yikes.

Anyways, picked up just a handful of items. It may be a little bit more than B2G1, but every year, Target does fewer and fewer of these sales and we won't know when it'll be the last one. Also, prices on some titles will assuredly go up when tariffs get applied so for a few titles, I'm okay with this sale.

Not going to buy any of the stuff I want at $45+. Recent release movie distribution is now using the JC Penny's regular priced sale model. They can raise their arms and shrug and say "see, consumers just want digital I guess".

It's the same way when they move all the anime boxed sets to $71 or $78. We can just buy them cheaper on Amazon, or another time. There is no shortage of stuff to buy, other sales to shop at. I'm not going to be beholden to the "you need to get the steelbook now bc it's limited and then it's gone!" new style of distribution, and greedflation.

-25% off isn't that good of sale anyways. Esp not when priced are jacked.

Yep, round 3 of Marvel and Star Wars 4K steel seasons were the first thing I was looking for too. Too bad they don't qualify.

Two titles I had on pre-order with Amazon that I was able to get a much better deal on here at $21.37 a piece. I'll check back this week to see if anything like Play It Cool (Arrow) or A Tale of Sorrow and Sadness (Radiance) happen to get listed, otherwise I'm happy to wait for a future B2G1 sale.

I snagged a preorder for Panic Room and The Social Network 4K steels earlier this morning. Prices were plenty acceptable enough for each after RedCard to me. Good enough deal for me.
