Congrats! I didn't hear back, oh well, I'm hoping for the Goonies poster anyway.

Personally, I thought the regular version looked better than the variant so I think you made the right choice and saved money!.

Ya, I usually like a little more colour in my prints, the variant works well sometimes, but generally Stout's variants go gold/metallic, glad the Kill Bill didn't, that is my favourite Stout.

I got an email that I was selected in the lottery, but I read it too late and missed my chance. .

I think its nice, was surprised to see Struzan not handle the art chores since things were pointing that he would be doing it. I have been told I may be getting some, but not sure yet. Anything Disney is impossible now for dealers to get. I got in the teaser but they got some minor damage on the sides during transit, but much better than what you would get through DMR who can never seem to package a poster up properly. I would not be surprised if they have them available within a month's time, but the real question is, will they have learned from their mistakes when it comes to packaging and if they will be double-sided or single-sided that they offer. More than likely if they offer them, it will be a very low amount and only be offered once. Also surprised Mark Hamil is not on the poster.

I am starting to think that perhaps Luke either breaks off from the Rebel and infiltrates the Empire maybe as a double agent to crush the empire from within, with Han and Leia knowing about this ahead of time (ala what they did with the beginning of ROTJ's opening scenes) but that could be far-fetched more than likely.

Struzan did the D23 poster and it looks like that was it.

I know a lot of people have had terrible DMR luck, but I must be one of the lucky ones.

I dont count the D23 as that wasn't a theatrical poster, but a mini giveaway, and the enlargement one-sheet size ones, while limited, were printed on the expo floor for a limited number of ticket holders but were single-sided and designed to show off HP printer's capabilities. A lot of fans were hoping he would have done the official final style poster artwork duties, would make sense since he has a long standing history with the franchise.

If you have had luck with DMR, you are in the minority, the images and horror stories many many collectors have shown me is astonishing.

The D23 poster was kinda bland for Struzan. Most of his novel covers looked better IMO.

I agree, what was even more amazing is what the one-sheet size were fetching after the convention, all for something that wasn't even a theatrical original.

Can't believe these prints for Back to the Future and Nightmare Before Christmas haven't sold out yet. These are both incredible.

Probably because either people are glued to their TV's in anticipation of the final Force Awakens trailer or people seem to think Mondo is the only game in town for prints and maybe don't know about these. The BTTF one is quite nice, with the 30th anniversary here, I am surprised too it hasn't sold out.

That BTTF print is nice but I'm going to have to pass after I calculated the shipping. I can't afford it at the moment because of prior commitments. I'll be the first to admit I'm a Mondo fanboy because of the time I spent in Austin but I'm all for these other companies like HCG, Skuzzles, etc. I'm surprised Mondo isn't releasing a print for the BTTF anniversary, just the vinyls at the moment and a Jurassic Park shirt and pins tomorrow.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? by AJ Frena

First 3 release:

Galaxy Quest by Mike Budai

Mondo is releasing the regular prints of Batman and The Goonies from MondoCon. The Goonies is an edition of 750...think it's not leftovers. The email said they saved the regulars specifically for online.

Variant for Goonies was the MondoCon exclusive, standard were for online sales so that info is correct, so there should be a large amount available.
