Is it just me or is Alex getting dumber and funnier this season? She's been hilarious lately.

Nah she doesn't seem dumb, the only dummy I see in the main cast is Penny. She keeps putting herself through so much and doesn't change. Still the funniest show I've seen in a long time, probably should've gotten the first season when it was $10.

I posted this in the DVD deals thread, but I saw this season 1 & 2 set at Target today for $29.99. Thought I'd check it out on Amazon and it's going for $24.99. The individual DVD cases are packed into a single slipcover.

Interestingly, the second season alone doesn't go on sale until October 2, and it's currently going for a pre-order price of $31.99!

Great deal for this amazing comedy (which will unfortunately probably never make it to Blu). Apparently it's a limited time set, so it's probably better to grab it sooner than later!

I got that set yesterday at Best Buy along with a couple of other shows to take advantage of their TV show promotion.

Can't complain either way though, as even by itself on Amazon it is a good deal for that price.

Finally 2.5 more hours. Only thing that sucks is that it's on at the same time as Go On.

Great premiere!

By far the best sitcom premiere I've seen so far this season. How does this show not have more viewers, or at the very least a crazy, dedicated cult following?

I'm worried about the ratings this season though... Not only is it going against New Girl and Go On, but it appears that the episodes air a full two days earlier in Canada, which means the episodes are available online (through less than legal means) before it even airs here...

Good to have this show back and not cancelled last season (one of the two underrated comedies IMO along with Rules of Engagement-- glad that's coming back as well). Indeed too many good shows in this time slot (there's also the new dramedy on CW-- Emily Owens MD-- that reminds me of Ally Mc Beal but in a medical setting). Missed New Girl last night in favor of this show (will watch it online). Funny episode last night with Penny's predicament-- ala-Misery.

Last night's Happy Endings got a 1.9 rating. That isn't great but it's not terrible either and if it can maintain ratings like that it should return for another season.

I was thinking the same thing. Everyone is definitely hitting their strides when it comes to their characters. Definitely enjoyed this, but didn't stick around for Don't trust the B. Wanted to show something to the mrs. before she feel asleep. I tell you what though, I want to knock Dave out and get his hair cut and cleaned. His greasy hair just makes him look like a douche(which is probably the point right?).

Yeah, if the ratings stay like this I think it will be fine. ABC loves the show, and it does have its fans. I feel like it being so close to the number they'd need for syndication after this season is just more reason for ABC to keep it around. I also feel like this show could seriously catch on more through syndication so I hope it's still airing new episodes while in syndication. That usually gives shows a ratings boost, and this is one with potential for a bigger audience.

Got on this train a little late and have almost finished seasons 1 (2 eps left) and I like it. It isn't a great comedy and some of the Delivery seems way to scripted but It does make me laugh so all is good.

Surely you'll find the second season better. It gets pretty brilliant, IMO.

I want them to bring back James Wolk as Max's love interest. I LOVED him last season! With Political Animals obviously not coming back he should be able to come back to this show if they want him to. I think response to his character was pretty positive so I can't imagine they wouldn't want him back. Would be awesome to have him join the main cast.

This week's episode was perfection! I don't know what I'd do without this show in my life. It's so fast and funny with brilliant comedic performances. Eliza Coupe - my god - I love this woman! Jane is definitely my favorite character. I love everyone, but she really cracks me up and Coupe is so dead-on.

This show is sadly quite underrated. This cast should be winning Emmy's! How the hell do they ignore it when critics seem to love it?

With Community on hiatus I think Happy Endings has become my favorite comedy on TV. It's such a ridiculous show and there's hardly any plot but it's hilarious.

I definitely feel that this and Don't trust the B are well suited for each other. Loved both shows last night and look forward to Tuesdays again.
