Stealth.
Banding everywhere, no scene is clear... looks like a poorly upscaled DVD or VHS.

If some of you are saying the polar express had a bad picture quality I dont think I can take your opinion of anything else. I dont care about the tech info on the movie or wether it was a 25GB disk....the picture was amazing. Ill give you the benifit of the doubt and maybe its just your tv.

Total Recall and Robocop are the worst PQ but 2 of my favorite movies. I was pissed because Total Recall was one of my first blu-rays and it sucked. But First Blood and Rocky are great and older. Strange.

I've noticed that the Polar Express crowd is divided. Some either hate it or some love it.

I think this title is a bit deceiving. It's looks bad to some because, to be honest, it's a pretty bad encode. But it's also a pure digital movie (from a digital source) because it's 3D animated. So, to many, it looks clean and good.

I'm in the middle. I can see the bad encode, but it still looks decent and it's not dirty. In any case, it's not Cars or Ratatouille by any means.

All of Rob Zombie’s films suck. I have House of 1000 Corpses and the Devil’s Rejects, and they both suck. I also have Norbit, which was awful.

Bullitt - I had never seen it and I picked it up from WB when they 1st started offering BDs... mainly for the car chase scene.

Compared to chases of today, it doesn't hold a candle to any chase in the Bourne series. Granted, it is an old movie but for all the hype, I didn't think that it held up as well as people make it out to be.
On top of that, the story was so-so and the PQ wasn't that great either.

Goodfellas. Great movie, absolute terrible PQ. Looked like a bad DVD, never mind a BD.

The Fugitive as well. PQ wasnt great although it was much better than an old DVD I had.

Fortunately for me, there are none I horribly dislike - as I don't buy until I've read every review and I don't buy on a whim - but the one I liked the least would be Stealth. Traded away now.

Rescue Dawn

Wasn't impressed with the PQ for this one. My first BD disappointment.

I was disappointed with COD4. There wasn't a sense of adventure or story. It just felt more like a simulation, army hand-eye-coordination training tool.

But I played on a bad day (I played it BECAUSE I was having a bad day, trying to use it to cheer me up), so that must've had some influence on my negative perception of the game.

Usually, I'll like a game during a second playthrough. So, maybe my opinion will change. But after my first playthrough, I've had no desire to replay it.

I like COD3 even more.

=================

I played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Resistance, and COD3 during the launch window, and with all the Holidays and commotion and frenzy during the PS3's debut, I probably associated good feeling with those games.

Heck, I played Uncharted right around the Holidays, too. So that made a difference, maybe?

But I'll give COD4 one or two more try. I'll force myself to play that crappy game to see if my opinions will change.

=============================

Maybe, as time goes on, I'm changing in attitudes and prefer different games. I prefer more action / adventure games now, I suppose, than pure action games.

I've never owned a full blown Role Playing Game ever. But, maybe, my tastes are changing. Maybe I'll prefer them now.

DISCLAIMER: I've only played single-player. No multiplayer yet.

==============================

And you asked for it. You wanted to know the truth, so here it is.

==============================

Happy Feet and Pirates of the Caribean 2 disappointed me a lot. I really should've bought something else...

THE LOOKOUT is a great movie. The PQ is pretty solid throughout and it also has great sound quality! I'd say one of the top 5 films of 07. Great story and acting carry this film. Could be a step son of FARGO.
