What the hell is going on around here lately? When I first joined everyone was always happy and cheerful. For about the past month, everyone is so tense and always scared that they are going to get banned. Honestly, what has happened to the good ole days. This place is really starting to get depressing, its nothing but fighting and arguing. You would think after Warner made their move, that this place would be booming with happiness. Everyone needs to start chilling out, especially new people that are questioning every single thing in the world. Why can't I start a thread? Why can't I comment? When is Star Wars coming out? Use a search button and as for every other tense and angry person cheer the hell up.

I'm not sure I see the favoritism you are referring to. Do you have an example? I think people get way too offended by a thread being closed or moved, and they just need to chill.

Yeah, we should be easier on newbies. Most of the time it is their first post anywhere. They don't even know about the search fuction!!!!

Let's give them an opportunity to ask questions, without giving them a hard time. All this does is drive people away...

Exactly. My point was that "calling out" a mod, and mentioning that mod by name, in the "general discussion" section of a forum is way out of line. Especially when you're complaining about him mod'ing. I don't know if some people have a valid grievance against any of the mods -- nor do I particularly care. There are ways of bringing issues like that up (to other mods) if need be. But posting complaints in that way isn't appropriate.

And I haven't seen any evidence of what you're referring to... but I don't know how I would even go about finding it if I cared.

I'm starting to lose interest in contributing here and elsewhere on the net. If adults cannot discuss a movie released on blu-ray without it turning into a flamewar then civilization is on its last legs.

Anonymity is not an excuse for acting like a child.

I do have an example but really it's not that important as I was just wondering why the guys statement of opinion got construed as bashing or disrespecting being that he didn't make any derogatory remarks of any kind, he just stated what he believed to be fact. but blah blah blah I guess

Thank you for those two. I forgot all about those, . Honestly, I am happy . These type of threads are just popping up all to often lately. Most of the time, they are over some really dumb things.

I'll be the 1st one. He is my favorite MOD, because he has always helped me with certain concerns from time to time on here. I've never seen him show favoritism.

Just trying to keep it light and bring back the fun of this place for you. (thats my story and I'm sticking to it anyways) Some days these things can get to us and other days, they just roll off us like nothing at all.

And one more thing. Does anyone know when Star Wars is going to be released on BD? Could't find a thread on this topic. Guess I'm the first one to even wonder about this? Common guys! Sheeesh!
