Not lazy at all, we fought and fought to be allowed to include ANY extras, i wish i could go into more details but this nearly had to come out completely bare-bones!

That sounds horrible! Thank you for fighting to get anything included. Would love to know though why there was resistance with including anything. Very much sounds the opposite of what I would think 88 Films would do with a cult title.

It's clear the rights holder for this film is the cause of things like this and no Ultra HD

Will there be a regular version of this Blu ray?

Yeah, as soon as we (hopefully) sell out of the limited edition version.

Excellent, thank you for replying. I shall be buying this, but for nostalgia-reasons, so not yet sure if I need more than the film on disc.

I believe Warners owns this in the US and MGM here now. Same for Bloodsport and Over the Top.

Worth noting that Anthony Edwards named Gary Goddard as one of his abusers when he was a child. The story seems to have flown beneath the radar, but it does seem possible that this could change whether or not some people want to talk about the movie. But that's just speculation.

That reminds me...has Frank Langella worked since being sacked from HOUSE OF USHER?

I have the 2012 Warner Blu.

Thought it looked and sounded great. If youre not bothered about extras is this likely to be worth a £25 upgrade?

I have the Umbrella. Are there any reason to believe that the 88 Films will have better encoding?

Will be interesting to see the comparison. I still have the old WB one, so curious to know if this is any kind of significant uplift over that. Otherwise the wait for 4K continues.

Great news, the final shot now looks like it did pre-Warner BD, without the weird bright green colour timing!

I'm on the fence about this one. Already have the WB blu-ray. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade? More power to 88 films and those who don't own it yet and want it though.

I've decided to take one for the team. I'll order this one, so we can expect a 4K announcement shortly after that. ;-)
