Yes the 606 would be a better receiver then the 720, now if you were comparing the 606 to the 920 then it would come down to which you prefer, sony or onkyo, and which sounds better to you. I liked the 920 better then the 606, and I know that Mr Roy likes the 920 better then the 605, but then there are people who feel opposite, so it comes down to you. The polks will work with just about any receiver. I believe, just check the ohms on the speakers, 8 ohms, then your fine.

Thanks callas, other thing by price im thinking in the onkyo 606 instead of the 920 because decodes dolby & dts hd with a low price, the sony decodes the same or not?
