YOU ARE CURRENTLY THE RECORD HOLDER, SIR!
Hopefuly I may break your record soon!

Seriously I am stupid to place orders from tower. I may save two or three bucks but then I worry a lot. It's definitely inefficient to concern over such $20, $40 things. Life is short and we should worry something more valuable.

This was my first and last order from Tower. I agree, saving $2-3 is not worth it. Hope you get whatever you ordered soon!

Joining you in that, 18th september they dispatched to me...

Iron man, Speed Racer, How the west was won, Godfather Trilogy and LA confidential.

Still waiting for them, they can whistle for more business. No chance!

i ordered Godfather collection & Apatow comedy pack on Sept. 18 by using priority. Godfather took a week and Apatow comedy pack came in today. I'm never gonna buy from that f**king company again and i'm glad they went out on business

Yeah, I have no outstanding preorders with them, and I will need some pretty good inducement to buy again. I really do have the feeling that they are screwing with us with some of these releases. I'd like to email them get them to email or fax me a copy of their packing slip they normally put in the packages. I bet they never issued them. The fact there are so many people in the same boat is just so suspiscious.

The one time I've ordered from Tower.com, within the last month, was to buy "Dark City". It took about 10 days to get here which is probably the longest shipping time I've ever had for a movie, and I live in the US.

I don't know if they're using some ultra-slow shipping option or if they're only sending out shipments once a week or what, but 10 days is too long and I won't be buying from them again.

I think the whole Iron Man sham exposed Tower as not actually shipping movies when they say they are. I think within 48 hours of you ordering, they just send an automatic shipping notice saying your order has been shipped, then they actually ship it whenever they get around to it. I mean, Godfather took 2 full weeks to get to me from Tower, and at the same time I ordered a BD from a private seller from a longer distance away and it got to me in two days.

I think you are right there - with some titles. Probably heavily (overly) discounted new releases like Transformers, Iron Man, Dark City. They get 1000 in stock, get 2000 orders, bill 2000 orders and fill what they can.

I'm still waiting on my Transformers. Nearly a month now. Of course I frigging have to wait 30 business days before they'll do anything.

Tower is very shady about certain things. They definitely aren't shipping when they give those shipping notices. My guess is that it is a way to give customers peace of mind that the items are coming. Also be aware they don't have everything in stock they claim they do. I ordered a cd two months ago they claimed to have in stock and I still haven't received it yet. I am probably going to cancel it and get my money back.

Hi guys, I received my copy of Shoot 'Em Up from tower yesterday, shipped on Sep 10. FINALLY!

Here are my recent purchasing records:
Transformers (tower): 20 days of waiting
The World of Peter Rabbit (amazon US): 8 days
Total Recall (amazon UK): 4 days
Shoot 'Em Up (tower): 28 days
Iron Man (tower): 20 days and counting
Good job amazon!

However, from the packing slip, tower didn't seem to lie about the shipping date.
I am happy that I'll have nothing to do with tower in rest my life! My Iron Man order has got fully refunded, maybe I'll pick up a steelbook version from ebay.

Again, I still believe they shipped those orders. They can recall shipments before they're delivered which is most likely what happened with Iron Man.

Well, my Transformers turned up yesterday. As did someone else I know in Australia that got is shipped from tower (two days earlier than me).

All I can guess is that the carton got overlooked at the freight forwarders... :P

It somewhat comforts me to see that i'm not the only one with complaints on their shipping service. I didn't know who to blame at first actually, tower or USPS. This was my first order ever from tower (5 BD's) and once I saw that it was being shipped via USPS I freaked because I know USPS is extremely slow but even this is unusual for them. I ordered the movies 9 days ago now, they've been "shipping" for 7, and still have not received my package. Tomorrow will be day 8 and will by be the longest i've waited for a package by 2 days even with free shipping. It's even worse that they don't offer a tracking number which really makes me question the method of shipping they actually use.

Does anyone know if the movies are sent bundled in a box or in individual packages? Their terrible "tracking" thing on their website makes it seem like each movie is shipped individually. Hopefully mine won't take as long as some of the others listed on here. I leave for vacation in 10 days and I don't want to be worried about leaving $80 worth of BD's outside of my door for 2 weeks. I can confidently say that this is the last time that I will order from tower.com.

I heard from someone that if you pick free shipping they won't it until all the movies are availibe to ship. So in your case it might take even longer. I too recently order 3 moveis from them and still have not recieved them yet. In the past I got the movies I order pretty quick though.

I agree they are kinda slow, but actually not too bad when they're shipping overseas.. Think it took around 2 weeks for Transsiberian and Ultimate Avengers to show from the US to Denmark.. Still slower than Axelmusic.com though, and they are terribly slow at shipping the items!
