Default The Searchers

Just watched The Searchers in blu-ray and it was stunning. It was originally filmed in VistaVision and the hi-def transfer really does it justice. The improvement from the SDVD is unreal.

The Shining and Top Gun were both really good. Predator while not as good was still significantly better than the dvd version.

Only said once, but Halloween looked great. Color timing was improved over Divimax too.

I just watched Halloween last night. And yes I'm still amazed at how good this old movie looks. I think the review says that it looks like it could've been filmed last year, and I definitely agree with that. It looks great.

Keep in mind that it was one of Warner's earliest HD DVD releases (the Blu-ray is just a port over).

I for one am quite happy with what was done.
