Big Bang Theory has been moved to Thursdays at 8:00 Eastern time (7:00 Central). It will be followed by S--- My Dad Says, which stars William Shatner and is based on someone's Twitter "tweets." Big Bang Theory's Monday night time slot is being filled by Mike and Molly, which is from TBBT and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre and is about 2 people who meet at a weight loss meeting.

he can be over the top at times, but it rarely gets annoying to me, hes the funniest character on the show for me


loved this weeks episode BTW, watching leonard and sheldon meet for the first time, awesome!

at least it will be on at 8 and not mess up my 30 Rock viewing. And S*** My Dad says will tank quickly, there is no way that will work as a network show.

Funny, I love this show specifically because it's about these nerds.

I also loved Revenge of the Nerds (not the sequels).

Well it has been 10 days since I made that comment proclaiming that I would "probably" never watch this show again. That effectively lasted 8 days, lol. A co-worker of mine kept talking about this show and I told her I just didn't like the episode I saw and she proclaimed that with characters like these you cannot just start watching near the end of the third season, and made me promise to borrow her copy of the first season and give it another shot. And as I have been very commonly known to do, especially here, I must revise my opinion. From the very first episode I was laughing almost non-stop. I guess she was right you really have got to watch this show from the beginning. I watched the entire first season over the last 2 days and enjoyed the hell out of it. So I just wanted to revise that statement and say that I have since making that wrong statement only 10 days ago, become a big fan.

I'm sort of in the same boat as Wyldeman45. While I didn't have a co-worker telling me about the show and I've yet to see any episodes from the past two seasons, I've caught myself watching a few episodes this season and enjoying them. Suppose I will have to break down and rent them all now.

I hate that they moved this to Thursday night it is now opposite Fringe. Hopefully by beginning of next season I will have DVR again so I don't have to try to catch up with shows on Hulu or other means.

It's not opposite Fringe. This moved to Thursdays at 8PM, opposite Community. Fringe isn't on until 9pm.

They must of had it wrong on the one I saw good to know. I found the schedules and barring any changes looks like none of the shows I like will be competing with the exception of House and Chuck but I've gotten slightly bored with House.

At first I just didn't know what to think of Sheldon, and than I remember reading a statement by Sepinwall saying now that with Community, Big Bang and Bones all on Thursday at 8, it was the undiagnosed Asperger syndrome hour, and than Shedlon suddenly made a lot more sense to me. It explains why he is unable to understand basic human emotion, so once I remembered that fact it made him and his very strange actions a lot easier to understand, and just in general funnier. I think my two favorite episodes of season one would be the one where he kept creating all those brilliant lies, about his cousin Leonard with the drug habit, and the time machine episode.

Having been loaned again all of Season 2 and an advanced copy of Season 3 over the past couple days, I have enjoyed the absolute hell out of this show. I went from hating it two weeks ago, to possibly being my favorite sitcom on tv, which is absolute nuts. Sheldon is probably the most entertaining comedic character I've seen in a long time. It's a shame though that this is going to face off against Community another favorite of mine, but one thing Community doesn't have is 16 million viewers. So my newest favorite might kill one of my favorite new shows of last season....And now here's a picture of Wil Wheaton riding a winged unicorn kitten:

'The Theorists': 'Big Bang Theory

Chuck Lorre has used the vanity cards at the end of his shows for a variety of purposes: complaining about CBS, commenting on racial politics, explaining science, and last night, he used a card to call out a Belarusian version of The Big Bang Theory.

According to the card, “…Belarus does have a bustling TV production industry. One of their most recent hits is a sitcom about four nerdy scientists who live next door to a beautiful blonde waitress. The characters are named Sheldon, Leo, Hovard, Raj and Natasha, and the show is entitled, The Theorists. Each episode begins with a rapid-fire montage of images which takes us from the dawn of time to the present moment. Keeping with that theme, the montage is scored with what is probably the worst piece of recorded pop music since the dawn of time. And finally, each episode appears to be a Russian translation of a Big Bang Theory episode.”

Judging from the photos on the show’s website and the way-too-familiar video, it’s a blatantly obvious clone.

It’s also apparently unlicensed, and according to Lorre, “it’s next to impossible to sue for copyright infringement in Belarus because the TV production company that is ripping us off is owned and operated by the government of Belarus.”

The theft bugs me, certainly, but I’m almost more bothered by how old faux Walowitz and Leonard are. Yikes, PopWatchers.
