But you see, THIS is why I love the NFL playoffs so much and despise the idiotic BCS college system even though I'm a way bigger NCAA football fan than NFL fan. Atleast these teams in the NFL have a Chance. If you get in, anything can happen. I love it. I told you a few posts ago, you don't want to be a team with a bye week! 0-3 so far if you had first week of playoffs off. I think it hurts you more than helps. My prediction of Steelers/Eagles could still happen! Don't know though, Ravens D is so freakin' good and Steelers are in a battle right now against Chargers. I do think Eagles will beat Cards though. I thought even before the playoffs that if the Eagles could just get in they would be very dangerous.

No, I'm not kidding. Of all the remaining teams, I think the Cardinals bring the least amount of excitement into a Super Bowl.

I'm not talking about how good or bad the game would be for football fans to watch. I'm talking about in terms of the buzz leading up to the game.

The worst potential Super Bowl would be Ari/Bal.

The best combination left would be Philly/Pitt.

At least last year had the David (wild-card Giants) vs Goliath (18-0 Patriots) hype.

I would love to see a Pittsburgh-Arizona Super Bowl.

The Steelers D vs. that explosive Cardinals O.

Plus, I went to high school with Steve Breaston and it would be nice to see him reach that point in his career.

Cards and Eagels both did a great job getting to and advancing to the playoffs, but whoever wins the AFC Championship is going to be the Super Bowl winner... I'm anxious to see what Joe Flacco can do in his 3rd playoff game as a rookie, something that has never been accomplished before...

Looking like a steagle reunion for the superbowl.

Very glad the giants took a dump. Nice to listen to all the suffering new york morons at lunch time all the sudden wanting everyone fired again like 5 weeks before last years playoffs before most of them jumped on the bandwagon before their superbowl run.

I'm glad this years SB will be Manning-free! At least they still have their Oreo dunk n' lick competition with the Williams sisters to look forward to, hah!

I'm thinking Philly will go the distance, I never would have guessed that back when they earned that tie game.

So you are saying it will be a two Professional Philadelphia sports teams winning championships one after the other. Phillies plus Eagles now ?

Yes, but historically my predictions are usually wrong, heh. (For example, I thought the Rays would win the WS and I thought the Pats would make the playoffs this year at 11 - 5, we know how those two predictions turned out!).

Why are you so pessimistic ? If you have in a team, it might happen!

How quickly they forget how the Eagles D dominated the Steelers earlier in the season!

On a side note, thought this was pretty funny:

Had this been Eagles fans it would've made national headlines...

You know, I'm not a Cardinal fan, but I live in Phoenix and I must say this guy is a class act. He's not a camera hound and he's very community oriented and humble. Very talented.
