over the past few years though people have started to classify mainsteam hip hop as rap... and underground and less commerical hip hop as just hip hop.

and if neither pac or biggie are in your top 5 your credibility is in question.

since i said it 1st... rap is something u do hip hop is something u live! rappers make rap music (will smith, jeezy, that kid w/ the "superman" song etc.) hip hop music is made by EMCEES! (Talib, common, etc.) EMCEES focus on lyrics rappers rely on beats & arent too concerned with what they say. rappers are more prone to lie about their lives because they see it as profitable , whereas Emcees do it for the love of the culture . so with that in mind i present my top 5 emcees...krs one, rakim,nas, talib kwali, common! im interested in your 5....cuz lyrically my top 5 are fire.biggie might be top 5-15, he only had 2 albums!!! pac lost me w/ all that thug life so he might be between 15- 30 for me.

daaam... none of the blockbusters in my region carry this on blu & and my netflix queue just told me to go f"#< myself, we just spent the extra 4 bucks a month were charging you on replacing scratched dvds.

if kanye is the only reason youre listening to rap today, then you arent really looking...all those other rappers are easily better than kanye...not saying he sucks

I think that's a nationwide thing with Blockbuster. I checked on Tuesday morning when I went to rent Benjamin Button (also not available) and they still didn't get Notorious in on Blu-ray. Got for free on SD later in the day.
