Paramount has the rights to Watchmen in Japan, UK, and Australia. They will be the ones who release the movie on Blu-ray in those territories.

Thanks for the great review man I am more excited than ever now for the movie to come out. I am sort of stroked to hear that it is all gory as 300. I dont think even the graphic novel was that gory. I guess this is more mature than I thought it would be.

And for all of those who are planning to buy the graphic novel now...WAIT... the movie is almost here, dont ruin the element of surprise...

Also, I think everyone will agree that the GN is better than the movie...Not because its the cast and crew but the fact that it was originally intended to be a book. There are many things that were cut form the book. So watch the move first and then enjoy the book even more

I read somewhere the BD release will be 210 minutes...including the Black Freighter.

I always wondered...Just how do people get themselves into early screenings?

Read the entire thing here and see a clip of Snyder.

I don't care what the BD version costs, I will pay it!! I'm usually pretty tight with over-priced releases, but this sounds so freakin' amazing!

I saw it last night per the post on my site Smells Like Screen Spirit, but us reviewers are on a gag order from the studio. I'll just say Bravo for now...

You got a gag order? They told us to tell as many people as possible. Go figure. I've noticed a few more outlets have started to post their reviews, like Empire and IGN.

Sounds like you liked it though.
