They charge when they ship. However, one has to enter the payment info (credit card, address etc.).

Also, I'm guessing (hoping) that the prices will drop on these as 35€, especially for the Theatrical Cuts, is kind of excessive.

And hellz yeah I'm in. I'm trying to be selective of my SteelBooks but I'm just such an enormous fan of Peter Jackson's masterpieces that I cannot let them pass!

YES, and they do price adjustments if it goes down, so no more excuses....now jump in

They're already showing up in my order history as 29,40 €, not sure why... but I'll take it.

And to Kynch -- Amazon is fantastic to order from. They don't charge till they ship, you can cancel without being hunted down and killed, and they lower prices as they go along.

That's because they take out the VAT (Value Added Tax) for those of us outside the EU ... prices listed are normally inclusive of VAT

Yeah, I know that sales tax in Cali is a killer, but VAT is pretty steep so I'm glad we at least get to skip that one

I'm excited about them too but it gives me some time to get caught up on some other steels or do you think they will sell out just from pre-orders?
