If it's any consolation, I had preordered the "Kraven the Hunter" 4K UHD Steelbook too and it arrived on time without any issues. Hopefully, it's the same for you also..

Target still hasn't shipped out my Kraven the Hunter 4k steelbook. And keeps changing the estimated delivery date. Looked around for a better deal and found one with deepdiscount's pop market ebay store so cancelled my Target order. Actually getting it a little cheaper this way even after the discounts I had through Target.

I saw this in the clearance section. But yet it was full price at $48.49 or whatever it was. I guess someone returned the store as they didn't want it.

Same here. Been waiting on LM2 to drop to $40. MP Jamboree would be great or even MP 10 Superstars as I haven't got that yet.

But let's not kid ourselves, there is a difference. To my point, there are people on this very forum who claim to not notice a difference between Blu-ray and 4K. We know that's not true. Are there some underwhelming 4K releases? yes. On the whole, 4K is superior and there's no argument. The presentation is just better. That's the same with vinyl. For every one article you pull up to debunk vinyl there are 10 that reinforce it's superiority.

Also, in that article you linked the writer actual says that, in some definitive aspects, vinyl is superior. Maybe that wasn't the intention but you might want to go back and read that article.
And snap crackle pop is there on vinyl.

If you prefer listening to vinyl, that is fine, that is your preference and go to town doing it.

But don’t be saying it is better just because it is your preference.

Honestly vinyl listeners are mostly elitist hipsters and old guys that like it because it reminds them of when they were younger, thinner, cuter, had more hair and got more nookie.

I agree with this.
[Show spoiler]Personally I think those who say there's no difference between Blu-ray and 4K use it as a coping mechanism due to the cost of "upgrading" already purchased titles. Imagine having like 1,000+ Blu-rays, then suddenly a new format is released and you basically have to go to square one if you feel like you "need" to own something in the best quality presentation. I'm glad I mostly stopped buying in general after 4K was introduced. Now I've been focusing on personal wants in both formats now that its more accessible, so I only buy 4K unless something that I like or want is still Blu-ray only (usually because Blu-rays are super cheap now).

Then again there are 4K releases that are botched or "botched", like when they change the color timing for example A, or something like the Aliens upscale for example B (which I personally don't mind at all, but agree that it definitely isn't a "proper" remaster).

I agree with this also. Especially that full last paragraph.

If I wanted good audio, I'd download the Hi-Res digital versions of something. If I wanted it as a fun way to listen to something, I get the vinyl. I only buy CD if its rare or the only way to listen to something specifically. Cassettes are a mix of both to me.

Streaming quality sucks but its so convenient, so I use it (and don't get me started on Bluetooth quality in comparison). And in the case of Apple Music, it has bested CDs now that you can AirPlay music and get CD quality (and Hi-Res as well).

The things that I prefer about CDs is that they are physical items that I own, there are liner notes and cover art. I don’t kid myself that there is an audible difference between the best of other digital formats.

The $10-15 off travel, electronics, toys, etc. works on most of those Switch games that are on sale for $40.
