The $90 is such a difficult number for me to even get close to with any sensible combo I can think of (been trying to come up with something almost daily)--I'd have been closer if I got $100 offer. On the bright side, I scored some last minute (unexpected) restocks on Deepdiscount, so at least I could take advantage of their current 15% off sale. Ya win some, ya lose some.

Strange that Deep Blue Sea hasn't been added but later Arrow titles (like Long Kiss Goodnight) are there.

Yes, and I got Demolition Man 4k As part of one of their B2G1 sales at the end of the last year. so they have had Arrow in the past as wel.

I got the 4K during the 50% off promo, made it and Kraven only $35ish each... still hate being forced to get a steelbook but that helped. It also shipped on the 14th and surprisingly came by UPS directly, they usually ship UPS-MI and hand it off to USPS, but that wasn't the case this time.

The little cardboard they put in the packaging helps, but unfortunately it's only for one side so opposite side doesn't have it and that side was damaged. I was going to do a replacement but they make you send it back first and I didn't want to get something with more damage, or worse, a damaged disc... but then I watched the movie and around 53:10ish, when the chapter changes from 10 to 11, it freezes up and the problem repeats each time I check. No scratches or anything, even cleaned it off just in case. So, replacement it is.

Damn story to hear about that. But yeah sucks having to buy the steelbooks to get the 4k. My bd should be here today according to tracking

If it was the 4K that froze then more evidence of the "fragility" of 4K.

If it was the bluray that sucks, over time bluray has proven to be a more reliable format.

At least with the Steelbook you got three formats 4K, Bluray, Digital.

The 4K thread is full of these problems.

Now when it comes to steelbooks...mo problems, mo problems, mo problems and the days of buying them in stores is nearly over

It could be the inability of the 4k player to handle the layer switch on a UHD. Now that I am aware of this, every one of my 4ks freeze around the 50-60 minute mark consistently. I have a Sony player, which evidently is prone to this problem.
