Walmart Bins & Deals - Official List

Couldn't find Blue Crush or Maggie. But everything else was there. Pain and Gain showed up on Brick Seek as in stock, but Blue Crush didn't.

My Walmart added even more stuff to the bin than what was there the other day, but of course I couldn't find the two I was looking for - Hellfighters and Parker. It's possible they may have been buried deep - I pulled out a Family Man after several layers of digging - but I gave up after 20 minutes. I actually broke out in a sweat from searching so long and hard. I hate the bin!!!

I saw Untouchables and thought about getting it, but that Blu-ray must be so long in the tooth by now (I'll have to check out the review) - not that it's ever getting remastered again, but still.

A lot of these don't seem to come with UV or IW, which I hate. I guess that's the price you pay for $5.96 though.

I'm glad I got the Big Show prison flick when I saw it the other day, because there was no sign of it in the bin today.

I'll wait a week/month and then check back. If you wait long enough, titles that were previously a pain to find always end up on top of the bin in plentiful supply. There are rare exceptions to that (The Purge and The Purge: Anarchy), but 99% of the bin titles eventually show up everywhere.

Oh, I forgot to post this. For anyone who got Protector 2, did the VUDU code actually work? According to the sticker, it expired in July (and unlike regular UV codes, VUDU expiration dates are strict). Nice quality control, Walmart.



BTW, I found these today and thought I'd give them a whirl.

Good point about the expiration date. I saw the sticker too, but didn't check the expiration date. Most likely expired since like you said, VUDU expiration dates are right on or some times even early smh. Unless they extend expiration, hasta la vista!

I redeemed the Vudu code for Protector 2 within the past 6 weeks. Similarity I've redeemed codes for Black Death and White Snake + Sorcerer well after expiration. I know Vudu is often more strict about expirations but at least these 3 Magnet releases has outlasted their published expiration date.

The slip is awesome, but how is the movie? I want to say I remember liking Protector 1 - but, well, I barely remember Protector 1.

I saw that and some other movie - maybe with Jet Li - around the same time, and I always confuse the two.

The price drop is nice, but look at stores like Target or even Best Buy that offer must lower prices - Target has a standard $5 selection that's on sale sometimes (like this week) for $4 or even less. Similarly Best Buy has rotations that are really economical (currently with some $4.99 double features). The only real benefit to shopping at Walmart on many of these titles is Insta Watch, which is to my disappointment becoming increasingly fleeting on catalog titles in this new round.

Haven't seen Protector 2 yet... but I do have it in digital... from the expired code...

This is an example that used to be $7.88 (unless ileadfarmer didn't scan it):

It rang up 5.96. I just got back from Walmart again and double checked all those reported; they all have "OCT 16" stickers on them, so it's strange they're just now hitting the bins.

Conveniently, there's a price checker scanner right next to the bin, so I grabbed all the new ones I could find and a few random titles that have been in there for months that were $7.88 and scanned them. Everything is $5.96 now too.

RIP $7.88 bin, hello $5.96 bin.

For my troubles I picked up Porky's and Blue Crush. No Instawatch. smh. If I keep these receipts, even though I've scanned them already with Walmart's Instawatch/Savings Catcher app, and they decide to make them Instawatch eligible, I can rescan them for the codes, right?

Yeah, I have a scanner about a few aisles down. I just grab what I wanna scan and scan em and keep what I want and throw the rest back.

Bit behind in this thread, I guess it's known that WM dropped the bin price to $5.96. I guess I'm not the only one to think recently the value bin was loosing it's "value" at over 8 bucks and change with tax Was a nice surprise to walk back there and see the new signage at 5.96. Oddly enough the bottom of the bin still has the old price.

I picked up Machete, blind buy.. The bin was really barren when I was there 2 weeks ago pre price drop blus where overflowing the top. Also found a copy of Maggie but the slip was gross and beat to hell, pass.

Ya I dig through the bin a lot and get sweaty too. I found Terminator 2 in the bin it was one of the 5 dollar ones as well. Front cover has him on the motorcycle which is a pretty cool cover. Was trying to find the Expendables 1/2 but couldn't find it.

My sympathies. My store started remodeling over a month ago, and pulled both bins. The DVD one got brought back a couple weeks ago, and moved to the front. Every time I ask they tell me it's in front, I reply that those are DVD's and different from Blu-ray's, they shrug and that's the end of that.

Hopefully your store has only temporarily removed it.

It's happened a few times before, usually before a massive reset, IIRC.

Did not find The Protector 2 or Ninja Assassin at my bin today.

Grabbed Miami Vice, but I no longer saw copies of Amityville Horror '05 (which I grabbed last time) or the Paul Walker film "Hours" this time around.

It was, however, hit with an abundance of Slap Shot and U-571.
