Yes but will any location titles be removed in favor of player generated text, as The Mummy did? That’s my only fear about ordering overseas.

The price of this currently at $59.27 seems too good to pass up. Put's each movie at $14.81 a piece which for catalog titles isn't bad. I really don't need movies 2 or 3 tho. Hmmm what to do.

Question Standard Blu-ray editions

Is there any chance at all that the 4K restorations of JURASSIC PARK, THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK, and JURASSIC PARK III will be the sources for standard Blu-rays editions.

It would be a real shame if Universal didn't do that.

I assume the Amazon version comes with Movie Money as well? So don't forget whatever that might take off of your ticket purchase, makes it even a better deal the cheaper it gets.

They're not restorations.

And Universal will more than likely NOT include remastered Blu-rays. Nor do they need to.

If these BDs were only included as part of the 4K set I'd agree there would be a slim chance of them being remasters, but they are also re-releasing these movies in both a standalone '25th anniversary' blu-ray boxset and as individual BD release so hopefully they will indeed be remastered rather than just reprinting that same old VC-1 encode yet again.

For those of us who ordered it when it was higher, should we cancel and re-order?

Thats what I always do. Especially when the price fluctuates up and down like that.

Back to the Future - same discs from Trilogy (26th) to 30th.

You can also see the specs of the JP collection - the DTS:X remix is not on the standard Blu-rays.

I see. So they are probably not remastered then? That's a shame.

Yea I've been noticing lately that they update the price on your order history. Still not sure if that means you'll always be locked into the lowest price or just the current price when you check your order.

I mean lets say you ordered at 90, it goes down to 50, but then goes up to 60 by the time it releases. Honestly not sure if you'd get it for 50 or 60.

I still don't chance any of it, takes 10 seconds to cancel and reorder.

I would bet that you can get them on sale individually at Best Buy around the time the new Lost World comes out at about the same price point.
They may even come with Movie Cash too.

Which is what I did, to be on the safe side

I think we are in the same boat. <$15 for a 4k is not bad at all, and I want all of these! Dinosaurs, on the big screen, roaring to the heavens, doing some awesome stuff!

My only hesitation is whether I want 1-4 in one collection. 1-3 would have made so much more sense to me (1-3 now, 4-6? later). I know this has been discussed, but dropping prices make me think I need this more and more.

I know alot of people that loves the lost world including myself. Yeah the film has some glaring problems but overall it was really enjoyable throughout. I don't understand why other people think it's like the worst movie ever, they clearly haven't seen other films then. It's all opinions anyway and everyone is entitled to their own.

Then you do understand why people think it's the worst movie ever -- it's just their opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate, hate, hate the movie; it's just not among the films I would choose to watch on a regular basis. I will watch it when doing a JP marathon or something of the sorts. In fact, the several of times I've watched it since my first viewing, I was better equipped to chuckle at the Veloci-gymnastic. So I guess I can concede I still got entertainment value out of that scene.

Yes it is, but that doesn't mean I like them

Anyways, I can live with some stupid character decisions, but not with a complete script nonsense.

As I said, I cannot stand that the whole design of the park is so faulty, and even simple zoos have safer access to cages where you don't allow for the animal's escape.

IMO, the idea of reconstructing the park alone is insane, after everything that has come before (after all this is the 4th installment with Dinosaurs gone wild). If that's not enough, they now engineer more fierce creatures that never existed before (I mean, of course something will go wrong).

On top of that, you would have to believe that investors would be willing to risk multimillion dolar funding and huge crowds would pay to visit such 'amusement parks'.
