When you say you want to find some art by Drew Struzan, are you talking about original pieces of art? They fetch several thousands of dollars just an FYI. He is an AMAZING artist, and have heard he is one of the nicest guys a person can meet, but I have not had the privilege of meeting him, although a friend of mine did last year along with Frank Darabont (so jealous I was, but he was equally as jealous when I got to meet James Cameron last year).

Struzan's last movie poster artwork was for the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull "Final" style before he retired. He also created a very limited edition promotional signed and numbered print for the TV show "The Walking Dead". I believe the AMC Channel store has them for sale on their site for $500 each, with only 100 signed/numbered prints created.

If you don't already have this, I highly recommend his latest hardcover book "The Art of Drew Struzan" which you can find on Amazon.com for under $25. A link is below:

Here's one where I actually did beg to get it (it was hanging on my cable companies wall back in 1995) and managed to get it for free! I don't know what it is worth but I've never seen it on Ebay or anywhere else:

One Sheet (dated 1994) for The (New) Outer Limits

Here is a signed (by special effects crew) and numbered blueprint from the newer version of The Time Machine

Any Life Aquatic fans here?

SpokeArt just released a print of their hugely popular Steve Zissou piece by Greg Gossel. 16x20 limited to 200. 50 bones. I couldn't resist!

Available here:

Some are vertical and some are horizontal, here is an example below of the Health Ledger as the Joker Dark Knight vinyl banner. Very thick vinyl, this is what some of the theaters (but not all) got in for the Dark Knight when it was released to promote in theater lobbies. At 8 feet tall by 5 feet wide, its not only extremely large, but also extremely cool. To give it some scale, to the right is a seven foot door frame, I took this photo for my customers to see just how big it is, banners are very unique, especially when they feature artwork not found on the actual posters which is the case for this Dark Knight banner.

Hope the surgery goes well, I am sure everyone is praying for a speedy recovery for you!

[Show spoiler]
Thanks Jon, I will definitely need two surgeries but from I've been told I may only stay in the hospital for one day(for one of them anyways)

No idea why I've been looking at banners lately...I kind of want some just to "have" haha not really sure if I'll have the money for some but you never know, I may might if I find something I can't resist.

How many banners were available for Tron Legacy?... I'm quite interested in a Sucker Punch banner as well but not sure of how many of them were released?

I have seen 3 tron banners but I am sure they made more than that. They had at least 5 poster for the movie that I know of. There are a few banners on ebay going for $50-$75. I have not need a SuckerPunch banner but I am sure they made them.

you can get them on the mondo site here http://www.mondotees.com/POSTERS_c_12.html but be warned it's almost impossible to get one before they sell out unless you are on the site when it's put up. Good luck because i know i've never had any getting one, maybe sometime soon.

The Sucker Punch prints went on sale about 9:05am pacific time today. The variant, as expected, sold out very fast, which is often the case of most of the prints being offered, they really do sell out in mere seconds, but the standard edition for Sucker Punch took about five minutes to sell out. Remember the prints go on sale at a "random time" they day they are being offered which is generally some time before noon pacific.

For the domestic U.S. release of Tron Legacy, I believe there was only two styles made, one being the advance (light cycle coming at you) the other being the final (designed to resemble the classic Tron movie poster). I know there were multiple international styles, including the first advance which was the same as the U.S. advance except of the wording at the bottom, followed by a second advance of the light cycles crashing into each other as they race, and also the three-poster set that formed one large image.

Regarding Sucker Punch, up until a few weeks ago there was only just the advance style movie poster, which was rather surprising since the film was screaming for at least another poster, but then about less than two weeks ago the studio made a final style poster, except they used the same artwork as the advance, but added the credits to it. I don't think this final style saw many printed either, since it appears it was a last minute decision so collectible-value wise, the final style could be rarer than the advance, again the only differences are the credits added to the final style.

Don't worry I will I've got my original posters (Inception, Watchmen, Dark Knight) in frames. Have some decent pictures posted a page or two back. I'm waiting for another sale on the frames here to grab them again. I'd rather spend sub $20 bucks a frame than $40 a piece.
