![]() Alternative(with high probability) is that Martin will off her just like so many other characters. Lucky us, she can be resurrected by red priest, N number of times, but who's to say Martin will not massacre them both to ensure resurrection won't happen. Or he might continue as before, give LS a chapter per book and describe in detail travels of whoever, it's not like there are not enough characters to travel around. Like I said in another post, it's hard to care or count on someone after so many characters getting killed for good/bad/no reasons. |

Yeah I was just trying to create some excitement but it would be lame to end the season with her again. |

![]() Seriously though, I think it'll continue at a slow pace as it were in B4 and B5, unless he kills of everyone else remotely interesting and LS is one of the very few remaining. |

Well, I've listened to the final track on the Season 4 Soundtrack.
It features the [Show spoiler] theme. So the final scene will most likely be focused either on [Show spoiler] Definitely not [Show spoiler] . And it sounds the most like the music associated with [Show spoiler] Still, it wouldn't surprise me either, given the title, for the episode to end with [Show spoiler] . Either way, the ending should be pretty damn cool. ![]() Last edited by Aragorn the Elfstone; 06-10-2014 at 12:43 PM. |

Could you please spoiler that, mredman? I only glanced at that list before turning away, but saw enough to notice that it spoils certain things from the finale. Book Spoilers are fair game in here, but not future episode specific spoilers.

The most interesting thing for me was the way they chose to handle Thorne. Generally a character who is a basic a-hole is consistently treated as such. Instead they chose to give Thorne a moment of brilliance. He led well and fought with courage and skill. Doesnt make him any less of a ball buster but an interesting choice by the show writers.

Well we always see Thorne from Jon's POV if I remember right. Thorne has good reason to hate the Starks. So we kinda get a mix of the hardass man that is the way he is to train fighters and you get the hate for the Starks all mixed into one. I like that we get to see some of his good qualities with the 3rd person view of the show.

I agree but it would have been easy for the writers to have Thorne stay on the wall and do much less. He could have sent Jon down to fight the real fight much like he sent him to Crastors. I think they made a brave choice.
