Just got my shipping notification

Praying for a decent conditioned one here. I'll take a spine slash at this point as long as I get it, the disc is in it, the disc works, and the case opens and closes without falling apart.

BB finally updated the status from Macon, GA and says it’ll be delivered on Saturday. I’ll take it right back to them if there’s damage and just live without the steelbook and get a standard 4K instead.

I wasn't being negative. I was putting it out there to be aware that BB does pull this off to fulfill orders from warehouse.

tbh, I didn't want it. I didn't follow this thread closely until release day and finding out they wouldn't sell this in store. My friend wanted this and was going to pick him up a copy because his is also delayed.

I was honest and don't order from BB any more because of this reason and along with quality control. I'm happy for those who got it and hoping those who ordered it get it! This is a fun hobby and been lucky to be part of it for years.

Although I would be lying if I didn't say I was also in here for the salt.

Nothing infuriates me more than pre-ordering a steelbook only to get the regular copy in the mail. This happened to me four times (one of them was DUNE!) and not sure why they simply can't cancel my order or bother sending it. I've ordered from them dozens before and they've been good, but it's not just that, couple orders came in crushed like others have shown.

I wasn't trying to be negative, just trying to put it out there since this steelbook is so strangely scarce, and if it were me, I would probably end up getting the regular 4k like before. That's why I prefer ordering in store pick up.

It looks like more orders are being sent out, so I doubt they would all send regular 4K, just giving a heads up that BB does do this time to time.

Yeah., finally my copy shipped as well. This is one of the most bizarre releases but it was all limited to one warehouse (Macon, GA).

I paid 29.99 had to go and check to make sure i was still paying that after Best Buy jacked the price up to the usual. Now I’m glad i pre-ordered it before the price went up , 2 I’m lucky i got it a day before release and that it was in mint condition (only twice so far have i have gotten John Wick Parabellum Target Exclusive, and Thor The Dark World, which i was lucky enough to find an empty Thor The Dark World Steelbook on ebay)

So after all this ordeal yesterday I wake up this morning and it says my Macon GA order has shipped and its at the regional USPS facility and it will be here on Saturday. No refund was processed which I'm cool with of course or thank god it wasn't, but now wondering if I get that gift card in mail he promised cause getting these at $17.49 would be sweet lol. We shall see. Such a mess.

My order finally shipped from the dreaded Macon, GA distribution center and is set to arrive Monday. Pretty sure I could walk from Macon GA to my home in Florida in that timeframe, but I am so happy that it is actually on its way that I am just not going to worry about it arriving a week late. I have been filled with way too much negativity this week about this whole mess and need to breathe a bit. BTW, since someone was asking, this was one of the $29.99 orders made in December.
