I don't want to post mine after seeing that thing...lol.

Also, I wish people wouldn't quote pictures, especially when there are 50 of them.

I'm trying to post pics of my setup, but I need some help. I'm getting a lot of grain with my shots. I'm using a 5.1 megapixel camera, taking pics at 5.1 megapixels. I'm also using a tripod and the timer to prevent blurring from shaking. For the most part the pics are decent, but they are not as clear as most other shots seen in this thread. I'm at work now so I can't experiment for the time being, but any advice I can get for the time being?

To reduce the amount of grain you are seeing try lowering the ISO on your camera. If you're using a P&S camera in auto mode try switching to manual mode and lower the ISO...that should help reduce the grain. The pictures that you are seeing like the ones taken by "jeremy_williams" look decent because it was taken with a digital DSLR and you can't compare that to a digital P&S, it's like comparing DVD to Blu-ray.

Yes, it is a P&S digital camera. Thank you VERY much. I'll give it a shot (the ISO) tonight. I'm glad I've joined these forums. The responses I've received have been nice and helpful. Thanks again.

Yea the Sony BD player is unbelievably slow. I also have a PS3 in the room and find that that loads movies about 3 times faster...

Second thing that was really nice is the tubed amps. You must really get a awesome warm silky sound out of those. Very nice...
Everything is controlled by the MX-3000 so when I want to watch a BD movie with the anamorphic lens I press the 2.35 button on the remote and the masks lift and the lens slides over.

The wall behind the projector is covered in sound planks.

Jeremy,

Your setup rocks. Audiophiles are drooling all over the world.

Are you planning to replace your BDP-S1 with a Panasonic BD-50 and/or replace your PRE with something that can internally decode the HD lossless codecs (esp DTS-HD MA) such as an Integra 9.8?

Are you open to demoing your system to people who live in the Bay Area?
