I am completely digital for my audio play back. I have over 400gb's of music all in lossless that i stream to the appleTV.

For video i use the PS3 for Blu-Rays.

There's always the option of upgrading your source components. You can have amazing speakers like the Vienna's or Paradigms but they will still be limited to the information getting to the speakers (I come the teaching of Ivor Tiefenburn).

By updating your digital audio source to something like the Linn Majik DS it would be a substantial improvement in fidelity for your audio. We've done listening at the shop I work at with it compared to Linn's Akurate CD Player and it gives that $7500 CD player a run for it's money if not possibly beating it out slightly.

Or by upgrading blu-ray playback to the Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD would make an improvement in both video and audio with the individual Wolfson Audio DAC's being used for each channel.

Just thought I'd thow out some other concepts to make the system better. Because as fund some in later and you update your pre-amp, power amp, speakers, etc. The source is going to really do it's thing and show you why you made the other upgrades.

honestly everything i have tried out, i have no qualms with the source. It sounds great. I have used and tried out high end CD players, but streaming my music digitally in lossless sounds fantastic. Besides lossless is lossless. It would be more beneficial by implementing a higher quality DAC instead of using the one in my Marantz.

I do plan to add a DAC sooner or later. Me and my buddy tested out a Music Hall 25.5 dac with excellent results. So that stuff is already in the works my friend. Im just trying to figure out the speaker direction im headed.
