Star Wars is where I get lost. The first one was very good then it went down hill from there. Each movie progressively got worse. I do have an easy cure for the hard core fans....Get Laid....Problem solved.

I'm so happy someone mentioned Kevin Smith. I hate his movies.

I really hate Grease because of the fans and the damn singing! Everytime I go out to some bar with karaoke, there is always some couple or two girls that sing those songs.... HORRIBLY!!!

I hated LOTR trilogy, but love the books and it is not because of the fans. I just thought the films were boring. The books have me glued to the pages, I think it's Tolkien's writing style more than anything.

The only Star Wars films I like are Episodes IV and V. Everything else is garbage IMHO. Ep I and II could have been improved looking back if GL would have tied up all the loose ends better between I,II and IV-VI. Oh well. My life goes on and I don't really care, but fanboys do.

It's doing the exact same thing over and over expecting a different result.

IE: If you keep having the same problem in karaoke bars, then stop going.

I've noticed him saying some pretty antagonistic things, here, but I'm with him on this one.

well,i don't hate any group of fans per se,but i do get a little bit peeved when you go to a film on opening night and some idiot is talking about the film or to the screen. this usually happens at horror films late at night. same rules apply to cell phone users- mace em all i say!!

There are a lot of ins and outs with my opinions. I consider myself to be a very deep person. I keep them clean and tidy most of the time, but when I'm around friends I feel I can express them a little louder. I would never go out in public with my opinions showing, but I know if they were dirty, everyone would notice as I walked in the room.

I will add nothing to this thread and say that there are no films I hate because of the fans. However, there are many movies I like but hate the fans.

I did also, TDK was ok but I did prefer Iron Man in 2008 then TDK. I like Batman Begins more then TDK actualy. It's pretty sad to read, especially here at this site, how many people actually think it was the greatest movie ever. A BATMAN MOVIE, GREATEST FILM EVER. Seriously?

I agree, in 5 years there will be some other fad starring an underrated-while-he-was-alive actor that will hype train its way into these pathetic souls and we'll have to hear about THAT movie for a while as well.

One has only to look at the "Dark Knight versus Watchmen" for examples. One negative comment about TDK and TDK fans take it personally. Not to mention the "GREATST MVIE EVR !!!" people.

I don't see what is wrong with thinking a Batman movie is the best film ever made (for reference I love the movie a lot, but don't think it is the best movie ever)

Why does a movie have to be about a certain thing (or not about a certain thing) to be eligible for people to think it is the greatest film ever made?

At least in my case, sure cant speak for anyone else, it is not a matter that a Batman film can't be the best movie ever. A great film can come from anywhere and any genre. My guess is the general complain is what you just mentioned: Yes, the film is great(awsome if you ask me) but lets not blow it out of proportion. Not because its a Batman film but becasue it is clearly evident that it's not the greatest of all time.

Edit: And I'm saying this, despite the fact that TDK is in my own personal top 15.
