JWFORD hasn't even seen Blair Witch, so his post can be discredited. I didn't like the film, but at least I saw it and formed my own opinion.

Isn't all of this a bit rich coming from Argento, who mounted one of the worst remakes of The Phantom Of The Opera ever made? (Come back, Robert Englund, all is forgiven!)

And after seeing his 3D Dracula, I'd be more inclined to seek him out so as to drive a stake through his heart than get his advice!

Nothing is blinding me. I'm just a really big fan and will always defend her work. Yes, even Carrie even though a lot of people hated it. I actually really enjoyed the Carrie remake.

You're entitled to your opinion, but to say she is a terrible actress is just wrong. She has over 11 million followers on Instagram, so she obviously has a ton of fans.

You're absolutely right. For all intents and purposes, Dario Argento is a cult director, the Italian equivalent of John Carpenter. But, Suspiria is his masterpiece.

OK, maybe that was a bad analogy, but Chloe definitely has a lot more talent than Kim Kardashian. Chloe didn't become famous because of her parents.

I agree with you, Suspiria is his masterpiece, and a visually ravishing one at that. However, I like Guadagnino and will see the finished product before I consign his head to the chopping block.

I'm also a fan of Carpenter's; remember when he remade a certain 1951 classic? People thought that would turn out to be bilge,too (and in the case of a 1960 classic,it was).

All of this is pointless, if you're offended at the prospect of a remake of Suspiria,don't watch it.
