I appreciated Deep Impact and more so over time, However in my youth, Armageddon was just my cuppa tea. the adventure was outrageous. awesome frenetic visuals and amazing city level explosion, thats right, i'm superficial, I loved the awe of scale there ;-).

Deep Impact is a much better movie than Armageddon.

Deep Impact is a very emotional, thought provoking movie.

Armageddon is nothing more than a cheesy, dime a dozen, action flick.

Deep Impact, because...you know...it's actually a thoughtful, coherent, and accomplished disaster film.

Armageddon is a 150 minute Aerosmith music video. And not a good one, like Walk this Way.

Not a huge fan of Armegeddon, but being that I own it on Blu ray and not Deep Impact gives you my answer.

By the way, I can's stand Tea Leoni and Elijah Wood, but the same goes for Liv Tyler. I thought Bruce Willis was very good in Armageddon as was Steve Buscemi and William Fichtner.
