Hard to say because Ar Tonelico Qoga comes with a hardcover artbook and a soundtrack.

Picked up the Premium version early this morning before work and I cannot wait to get this home and play. I will also take a gander at the artbook too!

How come nobody has given any feedback on the game so far. Everybody who has bought it has disappeared lol...That could mean it's either so immersive you don't want to leave the game or it's so bad nobody cares to discuss

I played it for a few hours yesterday. My experience with it is quite limited. I'll be playing more of it this evening. You can use your own pictures on your HDD for special attacks by the characters. I plan on making some special photoshop pics just for this game. There is a lot of dialogue to read, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'll get some review up as soon as I log in enough hours playing it. I do not think a review would be fair if I've only played a few hours.

Well on here you have me who has had the game since August or September(of course that's the Japanese version since that's when it came out to Japan).

There's that and also a bunch of classic characters(mostly old Sega characters from way back and I do believe I have seen some Idea Factory characters) can be summoned in battle during your attacks.

I'll have to ask you for help if I get stuck at any point. I'm going to get the dlc that's on the psn tonight as well. I mean it's free, which is awesome!

Well, I got the game and have been busy playing it. If you liked Trinity Universe, you will probably like this game. So far I am enjoying this more than Trinity Universe and I finally got Neptune Break, which makes random battles so MUCH EASIER that plus the skip feature makes battles go much faster. Right now, on Lowee, trying to do all the events for NISA so I can have her join the party.

*Sigh* It sure has been awhile since I posted on Blu-ray forums...

Welcome back. And don't be such a stranger.

I almost picked up Trinity Universe last night. I will sometime this week as it looks interesting enough. If you think it's along the lines of Neptunia, I'm in.

Thanks Moonphase for the corrections on the game listing. I did not realize I needed to pick "NO" for the categories along with the "YES".
Teamwork!!!

The description of this game sounded fantastic but I have no idea what the gameplay is like. Most of the reviews don't go into any detail about the combat system.

Basically there's 3 different types of attacks which go under , , and . You create your own combos in any way you want while using your AP, but each attack that hits the enemy drains your AP of that turn and some attacks can take a lot of AP. You do gain more AP as you level up though. You can change the names of each combo if you want. Plus you can make Neptune and the other 3 Console Goddesses that join you later in the game to go from human form to Goddess form by using whatever combo combination that lets them transform in battle. It displays at the top right hand of the screen on who's turn is going to be next. So like say if it shows Neptune/Compa/Monster/IF and so on that would be who's turn would be next.

You can also use Item Skills to help like say if you run low on health, you can use an Item Skill that has health recovery by using these green bottles you pick up on the ground after each battle you won called Reflex and it does it automatically for you if you use your points from leveling up towards that skill.

You can also use pics from your PS3 XMB Photo Album during whatever combo combinations you want and they'll attack the enemy. Plus there's also even nostalgic game characters from older games from way back when that can be summoned in your combos(mostly old Sega characters and a few others since Sega is part of the crossover companies involved with this game).

You go through dungeons, but if it's part of a quest, you'll have to beat whatever the specific quest is as fast as possible so you can get an S rank.

Thanks, I'm interested enough to give it a try when it drops in price. My gaming budget for the next two months is already killing my wallet ( Dragon Age, Deus Ex, Parasite Eve, Dissidia, Mortal Kombat...and others!) and I'm completely out of games to trade-in. Ah well, I'll put it on my "eventual" list.

Source: http://scrawlfx.com/2011/03/neptune-...eart-countdown

Quote:
Compile Heart’s recently launched NPG countdown still has twenty days left on the timer, but the secret may have already been revealed much ahead of time.
Found within the flash teaser site’s source code is the URL: http://www.compileheart.com/neptune_mk2/. This is where the current countdown site will lead after the timer hits zero. It’s not live, currently, but it should be by the next twenty days.
And of course, the main subject of the link: the “neptune_mk2″ directory. This probably stands for Neptune Mark 2, or something along those lines.
Sounds like a Hyperdimension Neptunia sequel to me.
Thanks, Siliconera.

I read somewhere that this is leaning towards NGP in either a spin off or sequel, as opposed to PS3. Hope not though, I hate handhelds...
