Really looking forward to this. If there's one crossover game that'll feature characters from Sega's RPGs, this will be it. That, and I'm secretly hoping for something like Segaga, but I know it won't be anything like that.

I heard it is like Segagaga but of course probably done in a more Compile Heart way. Funny thing is Sega is the one publishing this game for Compile Heart. Plus it’s worth noting that Neptune was also the name of a proposed Genesis/32X console. Plus all of the other video game console parodies in this game sounds quite hilarious mainly PS3, 360, Wii, and DS. I can just imagine that this game is going to be hilarious.

Hmm...from looking at the pics from the first post, i'm liking the look of the game. Hopefully, this game will keep me hooked as I can't seem to get into crossover games for some odd reason.

Cross Edge was an example where I liked the game, but couldn't get into it and therefore stopped playing.

Hopefully this game will say otherwise.

As long as there isn't any almost impossible titles to achieve, a true ending that's pretty much a bit*h to obtain, and bonus content that only unlocks for getting the true ending on hard mode, then I think it should be ok to play.

(Mentioning the only things I didn't like about Cross Edge even though besides those issues I had with it, I quite enjoyed the game).

I am glad to see some Japanese devs are sticking to their roots and not going under pressure to Westernize.

I'll probably import this day 1.

Well with Gust and Compile Heart you don't have to worry about that and that even includes Compile Heart's Megazone 23 game for PS3.

Not officially, I put that there because nothing is announced for other countries because it's way to soon for that. But I can imagine NISA localizing a game like this next year when they finish up Trinity Universe, Atelier Rorona, Ar tonelico III , and whatever else they have coming to PS3 stateside. So best bet is probably Q3 2011.

Rumor Has It That Sega Genesis Characters May Also Will Be Re-imagined As Characters For Neptune

Quote:
According to reports from Japanese blogs, characters from Golden Axe, Alex Kidd, Ashura (reskinned as Rambo: First Blood in the States), Fantasy Zone, Altered Beast, Shinobi, Penguin Land, and Space Harrier are in Neptune.

Really curious to see how Compile Heart re-imagined Alex Kidd after seeing their Prinny-style Nippon Ichi character.
