2 completely different games, I have both and neither play the same, maybe the left button throws grenades, but that is it...well and the health regen, but in resistance you can hold all weapons, as opposed to halo's only 2 at a time, and resistance doesn't suck like halo 3 does....ding ding come ride the hype wagon

Halo 3 is far superior to Resistance.. I am sorry I like resistance but its not as fun as Halo 3. Call me a microsoft fanboy or whatever cause thats how everyone attacks people these days but its a simple fact that halo 3 is a better overall game than resistance.

I enjoyed them about the same. I was more impressed graphically with Resistance (less jaggies and more going on in some scenes and better quality char models -- just a bit more bland environments) and found the weapons and gameplay to be a little bit more entertaining.

I really enjoyed Halo 3 because it finished off the story arc -- there really isn't anything to complain about (in either game really -- both are top of class FPS games). Overall I'd rate them about equivalent as far as quality of game and gameplay/story (if you take them on their own and ignore the hype) and both are impressive graphically (on a technical and artistic level).

Definitely worth owning both if you can. Can't wait for Resistance 2 and a new story arc for Halo

I am not going to call you a fan boy and if you are that is fine, nor do I wish to take away any enjoyment you derive from Halo 3. However, it is your opinion that Halo 3 is better, superior and more fun, than resistance, not a fact.

I actually like Halo for the aspect you can only carry two wepons, that being said you should be able to carry more guns in Halo with the antient invention of things called holsters. You should not be able to carry a fire arms store with you at all times. The best example of this is in argably the 1st great first person shooter to grace the consols, Golden Eye for the N64. James Bond was able to stick an RCP 90 in his pants, come on.

They are both good. Kill people on both of them. WarHawk is better than both of them.

For me the major problem with Warhawk is it's multiplayer-only game. Although I play Multi-player games, I prefer single-player/Co-op story modes.

I agree. I play RB6, RFOM, WarHawk etc. RFOM is the only one that I bought for single player reasons. To my dis-credit, I dropped Xbox Live and did not buy Halo3. I have only played it at my Nephew's house. I enjoy WarHawk more, but to each his own.

Halo 3 isn't even in full HD. It's actually running in 640p.

Graphics are not the only thing that sells games, if it was then the Wii would be sitting on shelves gathering dust.

from a single player game point, i think resistance wins yet its close. halo 3 is amazing online though and thats the only reason i would pick it over resistance. im not taking anything away from resistance, amazing game.

Im not a FPS player and i enjoyed resistence a lot more then Halo, more or less because resistence is easier to play. I have a hard time seein whats going on in Halo, and i dont really like that.

Give me some weapons in Skate and it would be even better than Halo 3. They rushed a good idea and the thing that sold it was M$ money and marketing.

I do not have an Xbox 360, but my friend bought Halo 3 on Tuesday, and he was very disappointed at how short the game was.....he let me use his 360 to play it, so far I still like Resistance:FoM alot more, I even think I liked Halo 2 better.....that's just my .02.
