Be careful what you wish for. I saw that version when it premiered, as a kid, with low expectations, and hated it. No costume, and a bland Ricardo Mantalban tried to kill her by putting her in a room slowly filling with rainbow-colored mud. She saved herself by jumping out of the room, since the one glass wall didn't go all the way up to the ceiling, but had a convenient 8-foot gap instead, for no plausible reason. Thank God the Lynda Carter series came out not long after!

Thankfully, Roots and the later Batman series releases have lossless audio, but the recent releases of The New Scooby-Doo Movies and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! reverted back to lossy Dolby Digital, even though the WAC animation releases in between all had proper lossless audio.

EDIT: I also see that Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! was actually issued on 4xBD-25 (!), much as The New Scooby-Doo Movies was issued on 2xBD-50 despite both series having over 900 minutes of 1080p video content. Now I'm even more worried that there could be 3 or more BD-25 discs in this upcoming Wonder Woman release. And as a consequence, both Scooby-Doo releases have a video bitrate of only 10 Mbps, which is roughly 1/4 of the maximum video bitrate Blu-ray is capable of, and much closer to streaming service video bitrates.

That's why I would have strongly preferred this to be a WAC encode, because the episodes would definitely have lossless mono and there would probably be at least a couple more discs in the set to allow for a higher video bitrate.
Those are all great points. I actually do despise the low bitrates Warner can use for its TV shows. Many around 12 mbps which is ridiculous and insulting! Blu-ray bitrates should never ever get into DVD territory. They shouldn't either ever put more than 6 episodes on a disc. I remember being pi$$ed about this when Supergirl Season 1 squeezed 20 episodes on 3 BD-50's. To add insult to injury the bitrate was 11.38 mbps for video on average with 44 Gb's of unused space across the 3 discs. Disc size on average was 35.19 GB's

Just found out about this now. Jumping up and down with delight. Anyone know if the aspect ratio's been confirmed yet?

If I recall correctly, its akin to the prices of the Scooby-Doo releases in plain packaging, which could be an ominous sign.

There is absolutely ZERO EXCUSES for this not to get a UK Blu release at the same time. Batman 66 got 1. And this series is just as iconic.

Just buy a multi-region Blu-ray player.

The first three specials had THE NEW, ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN opening with a slightly different animated panel. The pilot had some alternate angles, a bomb exploding at the beginning, and few alternate takes, delivered in a more serious tone. The original opening to the pilot is on YouTube.

Ooo! I'll have to wait until things get back to some semblance of normal financially, but this is definitely on my list. Absolutely love Lynda Carter.

Looks like $49.99 isn't that much of a steal, then. Now we just have to hope it's been treated like the Batman shows and not the Scooby-Doo ones.

I wish it was in season sets. The first season was the most entertaining. The Nazis made formidable foes for her. In Judgement from Outer Space, the Nazis know enough about her to knock her out with a gas grenade and grab her belt. You could also make a plausible explanation as to why she couldn't end the war by going to Berlin and taking Hitler unlike the movie.

The CBS years were more akin to The Adventures of Superman. The only interesting episode was the Fine Art of Crime. It looks like Wonder Woman may be turned into a statue but she outwits the bad guys and captures them.
