LMFAO, I would've thought this was a Kyle post if I was reading it out of context. I'm proud of you, Kate. Real proud.

FWIW I just picked up In a Better World at Dollar Tree last month. I've felt on several occasions that there was a correlation between what those dollar store and discount shops blow out and 4K upgrades. Just a hunch.

I haven't watched it yet. Any good? I'm fairly certain I've enjoyed every SPC film I've ever seen, and hence I blind buy em when they are cheap and I have a bunch I've never seen...

This was a blind buy for me a few years back as well. Think there was a deal at Best Buy or something? Anyway, I usually like these sorts of movies, but I thought it was just fine. Didn't love it and it didn't really resonate with me.

I normally don’t have much interest in these huge sets especially at $300.00, however if City of Lost Children and Devils Backbone are both in this release then I’m definitely in and I’ll just enjoy the other 9 titles as blind buys

I know 1-2 titles in this set are going to be must haves and I’ll be very underwhelmed with the other 8.

This is my least favourite kind of thread. I need to know what's in this, dammit.

Beautiful thing is a Sony pictures classic, but I don't think a gay film will ever have a 4k release...

I hope they would include Cowboy Bebop: The Movie here, even though that was a Destination Pictures release and not Sony Pictures Classics.

I want a 4K release with no DNR or black crush, especially if it has Dolby Atmos mixes in both English and Japanese, as well as the corrected Japanese 5.1 mix (all international releases have clipping in the Japanese 5.1 mix, but the Japanese Blu-ray fixed this, though it has a windowboxed and crushed video transfer).

Genuinely curious...why would a "gay film" be less likely to get a 4K release?
