I believe it was a conspiracy. It doesn't mean I believe all the theories that are out there. But it was certainly something bigger than a "lone wolf" attack.

It makes no sense that Oswald acted alone considering all the strange stuff surrounding him. He was definitely set up in some way to take the fall.

I've watched debunking documentaries and read articles that explain how that backyard photograph with him and the rifle is legit and not a forgery of some sort(I don't buy it). Ditto of attempts to explain how it is possible to shoot so many shots from that rifle he used in such a short time period.

Basically there is a desperate attempt to change the story away from the conspiracy which is why there was a rise in anti-conspiracy books/tv specials over the past decade +. So newer generations will believe this version of events vs anything else.


Stone has never said his film was 100% fact, as he basically says "This throws out all the possible theories, and if one gets proven incorrect, you still have 100+ theories to go through, and even if all but one of the theories was proven untrue, that still leaves one theory out there that's not been debunked, thus evidence of a conspiracy." And only until all theories are debunked, can you truthfully say there was no conspiracy. But alas, there is so much that happened in the aftermath of the assassination, that we'll never know for sure.

One thing is for certain. You can't 100% trust what the government says about there being no conspiracy. Neither can you 100% trust those who push wild theories. But somewhere in the mess is the truth.

Strange stuff like the fact that he previously, entirely of his own accord, disagreed with a politician to the extent he got a sniper rifle, and attempted to shoot him?

It's trivial. It's been done dozens of times. And he missed two of his three shots.

With this statement you are effectively admitting there was a conspiracy. He couldn't miss 2 of his 3 shots. He would have to land at least 2 of them, assuming you believe the bullshit magic bullet theory.

Evidence is overwhelming that there were multiple shooters. Then there’s all the evidence that Oswald was not even one of them. The manipulated photos of him holding the gun, the broken chain of custody of the evidence, the fact he was never seen exiting running down the stairs as the reports claimed (the witness testimonies on that is discussed in RFK Revisited)

From all appearances Oswald was a patsy.

1st bullet: miss, I believe it struck a sign or something.
2nd bullet: magic bullet - hits JFK in the upper spine, exits throat (he is grabbing his throat as the car clears the road sign on the Zapruder film) then goes on hit Connelly in a few areas and shatter bones.
3rd bullet: Fatal shot to the head (clearly from the front, not the back where the TSBD was.)

So you then believe the single bullet theory (or "magic bullet") which incidentally when they found it on a stretcher @ Parkland, was pristine. How about that huh?

There were many witnesses that saw Oswald away from the shooters nest when the shooting began, and also Wallace exiting the building. All of those witnesses died very mysterious deaths shortly afterward. Houses going up in flames, suicides, etc. The luck, huh?

Warner Bros distributed the film theatrically worldwide in 1991/1992. They also distributed the film on home video worldwide for many years, on VHS, laserdisc and DVD.

Around 2012, the international home video rights went over to Twentieth Century Fox and they started issuing new DVDs and BDs soon after all over the world.

I assume Warners had a 20-year license for international home video that ran out, and the international home video reverted to Regency, which has their deal with Twentieth Century Fox.

France may be a unique case post-2012, since Le Studio Canal+ (today StudioCanal) was a co-financier back in 1991. Warners had the film on French home video originally, but I can't find any sign of a 2013 BD from Fox, which most other countries got. Indeed, I can't find any sign of any French BDs until 2023, when they were released by a local company called L'Atelier d'Images.

Domestic home video remains with Warners. I think this is because Warners is a part-owner of the film, having invested directly in it.

You know what makes a great double feature? Watch "JFK" and then watch "All the President's Men." One gets you all whipped up that the government covered up the assassination of a president, effectively subverting democracy. It pisses you off so much you want to burn the whole system down. Then the second one reminds you that the "government" is just a collection of people with fragile egos and personal ambitions who, "really aren't that smart," enough to carry out a simple conspiracy without getting caught by two rookie reporters because the "conspirators" all turned on each other to save their own skins as human are wont to do.

Both are great movies, though. And I'd love both in 4K.

It also came out Oswald had CIA ties. There are also nearly 5000 documents they still will not release...60 years later. Doubt they ever will.

-Monroe and other women infidelity at the White house
-Bootlegging and all the business with his dad and Mafia ties
-Plans of Dismantling the CIA
-Peace talks with Russia
-Letting the UFO coverup out the bag

You forgot possibly the most important one: He withdrew military backup at the last second during the Bay of Pigs invasion, getting a lot of Cuban Exiles brutally murdered at the scene and I believe some rogue CIA agents as well.
