View Poll Results: Should the upcoming "Tiesto: Elements of Life" Blu-ray disc have a PCM track added?
Yes. It's a concert disc, and many can't hear DTS-HD MA lossless. 37 44.58%
No. There's already a lossless track on there, and it's not worth lowering the video bitrate. 36 43.37%
Huh??? Who's Tiesto? What's a Blu-ray disc? Why am I on this board? 10 12.05%

I don't think it'll work on US players anyway.

Edit: Might work on a PC. A couple of issues though, it's region 2 and it's 50i so that knows out the US and Japan.

Btw some people have tested in on a US BD30k and it works. Region Free and it seem to be Re-Enc in 60i as the show is correct but the rare 'Top Crap Cam in SD' shows Timing error... I imported it myself and waiting for it right now..

I'am reporting back From TIESTO..

Well it indeed does work. BUT

FW 1.6 from the Panasonic BD30k seem to have a bug with this title. I can see the menu, the Audio in DTS HD MA 5.1 work like i charm. I see the Overlay menu too but i get no video. The video appear when i pause it and unpause it.

There's 1 people on AVS forum with FW1.3 and almost the same setup as me and it's working.

It's also working on the Samsung BD1400 (US)

But

It does not start in the PS3, not because it's Region Locked (because it's not) and not because it's PAL (because again it's not), the title just lock..

Yeah i know, but the distributor is small... very small it's BlackHole.

It costed me 31$CAD with shipping for a 2 disc set (BD 25x2) so it's all good. I mean he's dual CD are 25$CAD! LOL

Default DJ Tiesto Bluray

Had the 2 disc set for a while now and it just gets better with each viewing.I want to hear from those people that were there for the recording and to hear their thoughts on a magnificent 2 disc set even though it is only 1080i.The DTSMA more than makes up for the lack of 1080p for my tastes.

Just remember, that if it was shot with live video cameras or at 30 fps it has to be 1080i60 and there's nothing wrong with that.
1080i60, 1080i50, 1080p30 (formatted as 1080i60 on the discs), 1080p24, etc. are are all different native formats.

A couple of movies (24p) have been coded as 60i but that's another matter.

Hi, i'm new here. My name is Fabio and i'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I want to buy this bluray, but I am afraid because my ps3 is American.

I have searched the Internet about it and thought this topic here.

For users who have the ps3 American and failed to play the disc, there one hint:

Try to change the region of bd player to test whether the disc works.

To change the region, it is in: security> BD / DVD Parental Control Region Code.

I do not know how many times the person can change this, I am only talking to someone tested.

If someone works, please say here
