Lots of good ones listed by others already. I would add:

Serpent & the Rainbow
Angel Heart
Heathers (if you'll be so kind as to allow me to stretch a dark comedy into horror)

You've got good taste in movies.

Re-Animator
Humanoids From The Deep
The Wicker Man(original, not the blasphemous Nic Cage crapfest)
Dog Soldiers
Wishmaster
An American Werewolf In London
Hellraiser
Near Dark
Creepshow
From Beyond
Nightbreed
Puppet Master
The Eye

I could go on for days if you want.

Please DO!!! These are some good ones I have on DVD, but forgot about. The re-animator movies would be twice as disgusting in 1080p! Near Dark is excellent!

Gremlins and Heathers are in the same category.. grr.. I will let that slide as you obviously have taste for listing the original Fog. What about Prom Night? Friday the 13th too.. that was good one. Terror Train? Howard the Duck?

Can't even bring myself to watching Howard the Duck as I have this phobia with large talking Ducks. The rest of you can get it on BD, but thats the only horror movie I won't be picking up. Ok, this has degraded about as far as possible now.

One very cool sleeper is The Forgotten One. Hard to find on DVD even, but is an excellent Ghost Movie.

The Blob(Steve McQueen)-can't believe no one said this yet.
The original B&W versions of Thirteen Ghosts, The House On Haunted Hill
Roger Corman films--the king of the B Horror Movies
The Birds
Psycho--the original Anthony Perkins B&W version
Some others that were previosly mentioned.
Oh yeah I forgot these:
The Abonimable Dr. Phibes
Dr. Phibes Rises Again
Funhouse(I know it's a Univer$al title, I can dream can't I?)

Too bad Univer$al owns a lot of the horror greats. Hopefully if and when they decide to go nuetral they will release all the greats in their catalog on BD.

Don't feel bad. You are not alone on this one. It's so highly blasphamous and disturbing. It reaches into the core of who you are. One I would only pick up to put on in a blue moon. There is what I call the "Relativity" factor in movies. Imagine what this was like on the big screen in what, 1973, 74? Holy Shit!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original)
Suspiria
Inferno
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage
Tenebre
Opera
Sleepless
Phantasm I, II, III, and IV
Shivers
The Brood
Scanners
Videodrome
Twitch of the Death Nerve
Black Sabbath
Black Sunday
Halloween 2, 4, and The Curse of Michael Myers in Producer's Cut form!
The Fog (Original!)
Assault on Precinct 13 (Original and Remake are both great films!)
Escape from New York
Peeping Tom
Demons
Demons 2
The Church
Cemetery Man
Uzumaki
Ichi the Killer
Pan's Labyrinth
The Blade Trilogy
Alien Quadrilogy
Predator 1 & 2
The Burning (Unrated Cut)
Re-Animator
From Beyond (Director's Cut)
Zombi 2 (Lucio Fulci's Zombie)
The Beyond
How to Torture a Duckling
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie
The Descent
Dog Soldiers
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Last House on the Left
Hellraiser and Hellraiser: Hellbound (don't care about the rest. LOL)
Nightbreed
Lord of Illusions
Ginger Snaps Trilogy
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Cannibal Ferox
Cannibal Holocaust
Anatomy
Deep in the Woods
Calvaire
Haute Tension
The Hills Have Eyes (original and remake)

and that's just off the top of my head. There are HUNDREDS of films I'd want, especially giallos, euro sleaze, etc.

Sadly there are also a few Universal titles I'd like (The Thing, Jaws!), as well as the Friday the 13th series (Paramount, at least up until Jason takes Manhattan. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X are New Line). If we could get Blue Underground (go look at the horror catalog those guys have!) to go Blu then I'd be a very happy camper indeed.
