I've sold about 1/3 of my collection. I'm sooo broke I may need to sell more.

I sold my dvd's years ago when DVD burning became a possibility and I was sick and tired of all the double dipping/re-releases going on. I am buying Blu-Rays now and am being cautious when buying certain movies. I won't buy any Blu-Ray if I know a better version exists already on DVD.

I buy the BD, then sell the DVD. So far only had to do that with 4 or 5 DVD's though becuase I mainly buy new releases in BD and not many catalog titles.

I went from having 300+ DVDs to having about 30 or so in about two years. What I have kept are only TV on DVD that I don't care enough about to pay premium and some rare or imported items that are unlikely to see a blu-ray release.

I've sold practically all of my DVD collection, with the exception of 3 DVDs. The reason is because the three DVDs that I have ("Bright Lights, Big City" with Michael J. Fox, "Pumpkin" with Christina Ricci, and "The Other Side of Midnight") may not come to Blu-ray anytime soon.
