Sold my HD DVD player - Blu-ray Forum

I just sold my HD DVD player and 18 movies...... I now have two PS3 and 30 Blu-Ray movies. It feels good to support only one format, the format that will win. I would to hear from others that have gone from supporting two formats to one. I cant wait until Jan 7 CES, when Warner goes Blu.

I sold it for 250, I just wanted to drop it, before the bottom falls out of ther HD DVD market. Dont get me wrong, I could get stuck with two PS3's, but I dont think so.

Me too, It took two weeks to sell it, I thought it would move faster then that.

Good job of getting rid of the hd dvd player. The PS3 is a great machine, and in the HIGHLY unlikely event that Blu should lose at least the games will still use the discs.

Very true, I have three kids, so they will use it. The Ps3 is the best Player on the market hands down.

Hehe, been brainstorming on selling my 360 add-on before it becomes worthless (Because I've only had it for the purpose of one movie - Because as much as I want to support Blu-ray, I also wanted to support Firefly/Serenity, if you're a Browncoat you'd probably understand lol).

With the recent price drop on it though, I don't know what I'd even be able to get now.

Dame that is funny!!!!!!! I dont wish HD DVD ill, but my kids love disney they are young, and I have to say I love POTCB movies, and so much more. I also feel that Blu has the best chance of winning and we need one format or both Blu and HD DVD will be dead.
