Over Critical No i don't think so .I paid 40 bucks for it and i wanted to see a Blu-concert not some half fast wantabe blu-concert

Its my opinion, Not yours and i can say anything i want(Because I believe it to be True,My truth) .

Lets talk about Song remains the Same. Its like over 20 years old you can't compaire the two. That doesn't make sense. That David concert is fairly new and thats the best they could do, Sorry iam not impressed.Sound is good PQ is crap.Out of focus most of the time and the dark sences are Brutal.

What kind of camera's do you think They were useing for L, Z and compaire it to the cameras they were using for Davids concert By the Way Sound remains the Same is a Classic as well.Dave's Concert is Far and i mean Far from a classic(Is it O.K that i said that)

I think Etlon 60 is the best concert for Blu-ray so far(Thats in my Collection)
I have a funny feeling it not yours and do you know why its not probably yours

+10

I just finished watching all 3 hours and 18 minutes of the Elton 60 and enjoyed every second of it. True, at 60 years old Elton is no longer hitting the high notes, but he is a great preformer and combined with his band puts on an awesome show. The AQ was great and the PQ was excellent. Even if you are not an Elton fan you will enjoy this show.

I have David Gilmour's remember that night, Justin Timberlake at Madison Square Garden, Celine Dion, Queen at Wembley, and also The Police Certifiable along with Elton John's 60th b-day bash. These are all imho demo worthy for audio quality, the PQ on the other hand are all quite good with the exception of Remember That night (which isn't that bad, but not as good as the other titles I have mentioned)

I wish they would release the Eagles Farewell tour on Blu Ray, I do have the HD DVD version, which is outstanding with the PQ and AQ departments

See there is some that are O.K with the PQ on Davids Concert,Like what you said "Isn't that bad"
But i Have to tell you I was really looking Forward to an Awesome PQ Blu-ray from David.I guess i was just really let Down and i can't let it go.

The First Blu-concert i Bought Was Alice Copper and the PQ was awesome so i guess i judge (rate) all other concerts from that first one(PQ wise anyway) ,But i always take in consideration when it was made and what Cameras were used.

I think the Queen concert is mind Blowing for the year it was taped.Iam really happy they used Imax Camera's on that one(I think thats the best were going to see Freddie and ,MAN is he on his notes

Agreed, his enunciation isn't what it used to be either.
I wish they had taped the live in Australia show, that was killer.

But those things aside Elton 60 is truly awesome, the sound quality is fab. You've gotta love the introduction to Empty Garden too, made me shed a tear when I first heard it.

Wrapped Around Your Finger from The Police - Certifiable is my current reference demo track for concert music on Blu-ray.

Default AC/DC Live at Donington

I have several concerts on Blu-ray, and the one I keep going back to (and also the 1st BD I bought) is AC/DC Live at Donington. The uncompressed 24-bit PCM track is just awesome, and although the video quality is very good (not excellent) the outstanding camera angles, and awesome wide angle & helicopter shots of the huge crowd make it the 1st demo disc I pop in whenever we have someone over to check out the theater. From the opening notes of "Thunderstruck" to the blazing cannons during "For those about to Rock...." it's just an incredible show!

For anyone with even a passing interest in AC/DC this is the be all and end all of concert videos, IMHO. Get it NOW. And crank it up! You'll thank me later...

1+

the sound is best as possible, the PQ non the less is good for the age of the flim, they did their best to transfer it.
the sudden breaks from songs & when the artist does their own thing like play guitar is a plus, and then to the next song...think that only happened afew times..

AC/DC rock fan,dont miss it!.
this is the first Blu-ray i played on my set-up and cranked it up!.

The Blue Man Group - How to be a Megastar. Very good at getting your sub-woofer to stretch its legs. Great PQ and sound. One of the best high-tech light shows I've ever seen.

Default Foo Fighters Rock!!

After reading the recommendations on this formum I bought the Foo Fighter's BD without really ever having listened to any of there music. It is an awesome show and I am definitely a FF fan. This show is right up there with Dave Matthews (still my fav) the Police Certifiable and Elton J. If you are a rock fan who doesn't get put off when the singing morphs into screaming once in a while, you will love this BD.
