+1 for Raiders. Terrible, terrible game, and yet I'm sure I thought it was the apex of gaming at the time. Pac-man for the 2600 was such a disappointment as well. I can still hear that bonking noise Pac-man makes in my head.

Spelunker was one of those games.

Close second was Rambo for the NES and Zaxxon for colecovision.
Zaxxon was an awesome game, but with the home versions you had to hold the controller at a diagonal which wasn't so bad for Atari people. The collecovision people had to hold a rectangular shaped controller that way and it sucked for them.

I'd have to partly disagree on Zaxxon for ColecoVision. I still have that game. The game was a great port, but it's just the ColecoVision controllers that suck. Hitting and maintaining diagonal on those sticks took a bit of luck.

There are way too many contenders for "Worst Game," but I'll throw out a one that took me by surprise - Test Drive 6 on Dreamcast. It was released right around the great games, Test Drive: Le Mans, and Test Drive: V Rally, which were both fantastic on Dreamcast. Le Mans is still one of my favorite racers to date. Based on the other two games, I ordered Test Drive 6 from Amazon, and they might as well have packaged up and sent a steaming pile of dog crap to me. It looked and played like a bad PS1 game, and it didn't even try using any of the Dreamcast's power.

Total waste of $.

Batman Forever on SNES.

It was about 60-70 bucks, the graphics sucked, the control sucked, the instructions were even wrong....it was just a painful horrible experience!!

Alright, I am definitely going to get chastised for this but LPG to me was a complete waste of $60. The game literally has no point.

im guessing most all of you are too young to really remember but honestly PONG is the worst came ever .. i mean come on hit a circle back and forth between 2 lines .....

damn i just dated myself there ..

kidding aside .... dragster on 2600 was pretty horrid i still dotn even know how to NOT blow the damn engine in that damn game

yuor mind can't be anywhere near the place it needs to be if you found 1 thing to dislike about LBP, let alone many more to classify it as anything near bad altogether. to each his own i guess.

its clearly not the worst game ever, even if you dont like it you need to respect the game mechanics and how original the game is, me and my friend biult a flying machine with 2 cannons, name any other game that you can do that!

To me it was completely overrated. I do think that it is intuitive, but that does not make it a good game. You guys are right, I don't think its the worst game ever made, I would have to think really hard about the worst game ever. I'll get back to you all.
