CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" (Season 12)

Nah, the show will still keep going for a long time. I believe it was in season 6 when the cast/creators said they are barely half way with the story. No way it ends before at least 10 seasons. It's one of the most successful series ever, and its way beyond anything else on TV right now.

Plus Ashton Kutcher and Charlie Sheen were getting over $1 million per episodes at one point. CBS will NOT lose the BBT cast.

Well I DO have a massive crush on Kaley Cuoco so I kinda wish the show would end and she could do more movies but at the same time I think she prefers TV so I hope the show goes at least 3 more seasons. Just think they need to start developing the characters better -
Raj needs to date period, this Lucy stuff isn't going to cut it
Penny needs to make a serious attempt at school and they need to stop trying to dumb her down
Penny and Leonard need to stop their up and down relationship. Either get married already or break up for good
Still my favourite sitcom of all-time for sure.

Blossom is Amy Farrah Fowler show when she was a child actress Darth. Thanks for making me feel old. Unlike 2.5 men, this show is at least funny. I do worry that we're getting into Friends(and any other sitcom that went on too long) territory.

I think many actors would prefer TV. Kutcher is making 24 million a season or so (no need to correct if I'm off a couple figures) plus a few million a year on movies.

The BBT are expected to fetch 600k+ an episode after the next contract (The Main 3 are, the rest are peanuts in comparison). Who wouldn't want to take a chance on a series and see it go 5-6 seasons, you would never have to work again if it panned out. Kaley is a lot of fun to watch, I'm not so sure she is suited for the big screen as much as TV. I think she is perfect on BBT without a doubt. I always look forward to her sexy scenes of course ....who wouldn't.

She's actually the reason I wish 8 Simple Rules had gone longer and may actually get that on DVD at some point, also the hottest woman that was ever on Charmed, a show I watched for years.

Ah so it started airing in 1991, I was also 11 then, I don't remember hearing about it though. Still say they need to ramp up the character development, that's probably the aspect of the show that's been handled the worst over the first 7 seasons.

It'll be nice if/when a new contract is finalized. If it's 3 more seasons then it'll go till at least 10 seasons. I have no problem with that

It aired on Monday nights at 8:30, right after The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. I never missed an episode of either show.

I just want to see more character development, hasn't been much, although recently Howard and Raj have gotten some. Penny needs a lot and Sheldon and Amy need to get more...serious or that relationship needs to end.

Thank you for making me feel even more older than I already did. I was 23 or 24 when Blossom started? My step daughter was really into this show at the time. I'm not sure when it actually aired, but I caught it before I was deployed for Desert Storm.

I do agree. While I love the show, there needs to start being more character development. If it keeps up the way they're going now it could get stale in a few more seasons.

Sheldon and Amy have been steadily progressing you have to remember Sheldons character is fickle. He went from wanting no human contact to befriending Amy, To admitting that he cares for her, to now we see hes putting pictures of her in places he spends most. That relationship is evolving you are seeing some real character growth here.

Truthfully I dont see penny and Leonards relationship moving past the current stage unless something extreme happens, It would add an interesting dynamic if she got pregnant. At that stage I think you would see some real growth from those 2 characters.

I am extremely upset with raj character development this year i really did expect some big things but that was a major let down.

Bernadette and Howard I have no idea how you could move those 2 forward as they are already married and living together.

I really really hope they don't throw a baby into the show. Every show I have ever seen add a baby completely ruins it for me. They are so cranky & whiney and put the cast in that depraved for sleep mode that turns the whole show into a downer.

Another mild holiday-week evening for the broadcast networks saw CBS take victories in both adults 18-49 (1.4 rating) and total viewers (6.5 million), thanks to Thursday's strongest performer: an encore of The Big Bang Theory (2.6 adults).

ABC News special Secrets of the Castle (1.0 adults) aired after a Shark Tank encore, giving ABC a 1.1 adults rating and 5.1 million viewers for the night.

NBC's encore special of The Women of Saturday Night Live (1.3 adults) helped the network match ABC's 1.1 rating with adults 18-49. NBC also netted 3.4 million viewers.

Glee repeats took a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 1.5 million viewers, while encores from the CW's regular Thursday block averaged a 0.3 adults rating and 905,000 viewers.

Only 2 days away from the show coming back from the winter break, hopefully I get to see the new episode live and won't end up having to use my DVD recorder for the first time since I moved.

So Kaley is married now. At this rate she will be pregnant soon, and will have to have it written into the show.
