I wasn't sure if I should pull the trigger on that one going by the jpeg - Yup looks like I should! Nice pickup there sir.
![]() Nabbed the gray variant of this James Rheem Davis piece last night. It was tough deciding which color but I flipped a coin. Only the gray and cyan were available. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They are very alike! I am a huge Troma fan and I did actually just go back and check out the skuzzles blog. Very cool stuff indeed. I'd definitely like to pick up some cool Troma prints. Curious to find out what is the first poster scheduled. I would love to get Class Of Nuke 'Em High!

Trust me I have already contacted Disney Rewards and explained in detail how they could avoid damages to their posters, but my comments fell on deaf ears. Remember everyone, even though what they are sending out is a collectible that technically isn't made for public sale or even in the hands of collectors for that matter, the posters themselves are simply tossed into a flimsy tube with nothing to protect the ends of the poster from shifting inside the tube, which it often does during transit, and then some plastic caps are put on (not taped on) and it's sent out. In these cases it is done by an employee who is making minimum wage, who doesn't understand the importance of "collecting" and thinks it is just something a person will tack up to their wall, etc. It is highly unlikely they will ever change their packaging design or the tubes they use. Maybe you will get one eventually with no damage, but if they would change they way they package, use more support, better tubes, and tape the end caps down, it would actually not only cut down on customer complaints, but also cut down on the repeat shipping charges they pay to send replacements out to people.

More than likely everyone has been surprised by the lack of marketing for Green Lantern. A few with this much potential one would have thought would have had a poster out during the Christmas holiday, but nothing ever was released. There has been a lot of promotional "images" released and even an earlier posting of mine here on the forum a few pages back stated an advance style would more than look like the image I posted, but it turned out NOT to be a poster. Of all the images released, nothing ever was released as a theatrical movie poster, until now. The studio finally released a new trailer attached to Thor in theaters, and the first poster (and probably the only poster) should be hitting theaters this week. The artwork is below, personally I think it looks pretty good and the trailers have gotten much better since the first one debuted late last year. The other images released are either banners, bus shelter posters, or just various promotional images.
I will see what else I can find out, but in the meantime, here is the final style imagery for "Green Lantern" movie poster, and despite the fact that you can't see the credits, they are in fact on the actual posters. ![]() |

Last month was the first ever Mondo Mystery Movie, the company that releases those limited edition movie poster prints that suddenly everyone is now collecting. They often sell out in seconds when they are released. Last month they held the mystery movie, whereas they didn't tell anyone what it was ahead of time. The tickets sold out quite fast, and was mainly geared towards those around the Austin Texas area. Fans went nuts when they released at the screening they were seeing the Japanese animated classic "Akira" and that a special print was offered for sale only at the event by the same artist who has done the prints for Iron Man 2, Star Wars Trilogy, The Thing, Kill Bill, Blade Runner, Big Trouble in Little China and others. There were two versions made, each 24x36 inches silk screened, one being a standard edition limited to only 180 copies, and an ultra-rare variant edition limited to only 80. For those who haven't seen them, images are below, these are really quite nice, and insanely rare:
