I literally wrote an entire full-length screenplay with that as the idea way back in the mid-90s. There's a scene in there that I think would be considered the most suspenseful in the entire series. And man, the original kills I came up with in that screenplay. I need to find that and post it online or something. I'd send it to WB, but I'm sure they don't take unsolicited scripts.

11 hours (counting the bonus disc). Yeah ... even as someone who read the Crystal Lake Memories book in 1 sitting, I don't think I could pull off watching that many interviews all at one time. Probably divide it up and watch 2 or 3 movies worth at a time.

Or.

Knowing me, that's what I'll plan on doing and 11 hours later I'll watch the credits roll and say, "Well, what do y'know? It's already over." Then I'll die of a blood clot from sitting in one place for so long without moving.

The Friday the 13th release date is a good marketing tool but considering that this is online only is rather redundant, most of us will get this delivered sometime next week if we're lucky !

True... the least they could do would be to post when orders will start shipping. How hard is that? Otherwise I am sure they have people e-mailing them to death. a Simple posting on their site or news to let people know would help them out a lot and us. I don't mind waiting since I will be watching nothing but the films on Friday. I can watch the docs later on... but they shouldn't have been proclaiming a 13th release date when they even know it would be hard to get copies to everyone by that date.

Agreed. I've been looking around for the other kids on FB and Twitter, etc, just seeing if anyone is still around these days.

Jeannine Taylor is listed as contributing as well; it was unlikely Bacon would, and Bartram has passed. I bet they tried to get all they could, but perhaps Crosby and a few others just didn't want to talk.

I was really hoping to watch this on Friday but with each passing moment I feel more and more like that is not going to happen. Come on CLM don't let us down!

So, I just saw someone post in the collection thread that this won't be at Best Buy stores, only online, and I was just wondering if there was any confirmation to that? :/

The initial release this Friday is through the CLM website only, the wide release is planned for mid October.

but if you're that nervous and haven't already, keep an eye out on your bank account. i dont know if its the same for everyone but i always see the charge appear there a good day or more before the shipment email arrives for whatever i've ordered.

well unless i paid for a pre-order with paypal. they tend to charge right away and none of that "your card wont be charged til its shipped" thing that paying directly with your credit card brings.
Yeah, I've already been charged (via PayPal), I know I won't get a shipment confirmation till it's shipped, but I never even got a confirmation that I ordered it, other than the PayPal receipt.

It is clearly stated on the CLM site that the paypal confirmation IS the order confirmation.

It states that now but it didn't state that when the pre-order went live - trust me, I scoured that site looking for any indication of confirmation an order was recieved.

I tweeted @CLM the other day to ask about shipping confirmation to the UK and when expected shipping dates were - they replied last night to say UK residents will also get a shipping email but they didn't comment on dates.

I'm away on holiday from Saturday for 12 days so I'm not too fussed when it ships within the next week really as I wont be home anyways.

That must be an error on their part but it will not be in stores on Friday.
