Thanks. I seem to buy a lot of new releases from Target. As my WM doesn't seem to have much new releases anymore.

Picked up The French Dispatch and Antlers yesterday.

It took about a week to get it in the mail, with the Red Card. Everything should be in the envelope. It's not 40%. It's $40 same as cash.

With the Red Card debit card, would you get free shipping even if part of the purchase is paid with a gift card?

Only if the gift-card is less than the amount of the purchase and you have a balance due. If you have a gift-card for more than the balance due. Say you have $200 gift card and the total comes to $100, then no you don't get the discount, something has to be charged on the red card itself. I found that out during the last B2G1 sale, which is why I now buy the cards in $50 increments instead of $100.

But the Free Shipping should apply whether you pay with GC or Red Card. At least with the CC the FS follows the account with the Red Card attached, not the payment type

I tried that and it didn't work at all. I had GC's of only $10 and tried it with large purchases totals and every time the a GC was attached, the 5% Red Card discount lowered a little bit. I tried it on the website and app with the same results.

The 5% only applies to the amount charged to the Red Card, but you still get free shipping.

Looks like I may have misread. I thought he was referring to what I had saw earlier with a user saying you could still get the full 5% discount from the Red card when using GC's as long as the GC amount used wasn't too high. I tried that and bought a series of GC's with small amounts when they were 10% off.

That didn't work out, though not really upset as it was still an extra 5% off compared to normal.

It does (or did) indeed work, but there's no specific calculation I found which definitively works. I had the most success if the GC wasn't more than 25%-30% of the total order amount, to still get the full 5% off for the entire order. I've used GC's for as much as 50% off before, and got the full 5% off. But that was on a very large order, and I believe I used multiple GC's. However, a few days ago I applied a $5 GC on a $25 order, but it lowered the discount. So either they plugged the loophole, or it's a random YMMV situation. But I've definitely done it many many times over the past few years.

I ordered Dune 2021 4k. So with the 5% off red card, and over $2 in target circle I got it for under $31 shipped. Sure the price will drop a few bucks. As it as $32.99 and likely will be $29.99 and get it cheaper.

I ordered a $49.99 title using the $40 voucher I received for RedCard signup.

The remaining $10+ was charged to my bank account linked to my RedCard.

I received $2.50 back in rewards so it would seem I received the full 5% back.

I saw it at my store, but they didn't have any Halloween Kills (any format). Walked out only with Dune 4K.

I found a store….7 hours away that has it in stock. Gonna stop at my local store after work to see if they have it, otherwise I’m just ordering it for shipping.


Wondering if they are actually in store and the DCPI in store doesn’t match with the one online?
