I think it's incredibly sad that G.I. Joe is so close to Forrest Gump in that poll. I think it's even sadder that it's outdoing North by Northwest. Some people's tastes have absolutely hit rock bottom.

Just rented "GI Joe" yesterday; the store accidentally had them out a week early. I watched it and generally enjoyed it. I think I'll definitely want a copy on disc.

Pre-ordered the "Clone Wars" season 1 months ago.

Already own "The Watchmen" DC and the "Tales of the Black Freighter" discs, cause I didn't want the ultimate edition.

Already own both "Transformers" films separately.

Hopefully, "North by Northwest" and "Forrest Gump" will be under the Christmas tree.

Somehow, I neglected to notice "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Christmas Vacation" coming out. I'll buy 'em later.

Gotta rent "Wings of Desire," "Aliens in the Attic," and "The Taking of Pelham 123" before I decide to buy them or not.

Not interested in "Rocky" (eh, seen the first five once) or "Love Actually" (cute though it is).

Still waiting for a huge 20-movie James Bond set.

Don't know the others.

That is all for me.

Seeing as it's one of my favourites, Forrest Gump will be a no-brainer, in the chocolate box (if I can find it). Also planning on getting GI Joe, which I thought was fun, plus who can pass up Rachel Nichols in 1080p?! Might take a look at Christmas Vacation, which I already have 2 DVDs of (one by itself, the other in a 4 pack with the other Vacation films), so I might hesitate at first. Then on the SD DVD side, I'm looking forward to Spin City Season 3. Wow! My bank account is gonna take a hit, just think about next week with Up in that big lamp edition.

I would add Taking Pelham 123 to the poll but I voted before the Amazon price adjustment.

Well not everyone has to turn their noses up at movies that aren't critically acclaimed.... their tastes may not have ever fallen either, they might have been that way from the start. I personally think that Gump is a better movie, but I'll never begrudge anyone for wanting to buy GI Joe instead....

G.I. Joe

I must be in the minority as not much else on that list appeals to me.
