Why does it matter when they'll release the same coupon to the general public on Day 1 for the release? They always do. Disney won't stop this due to fraud - they'll stop it so they can make even more money. And they won't stop it until the DMR program runs its course, which was recently extended. We don't have anything to worry about.

I know. I do not own The Incredibles on DVD. So technically, I am a coupon cheater if I use this. So, I should not use it. If Amazon price matches this movie, then it is best for me to get it there since I'm not eligible to use the coupon anyway.

Yeah, cheating a multi BILLION dollar company. And we are in a recession and scrimping (for some of us) to come up with the money. They can afford it...

I gurantee you Disney would rather folks who have never owned The Incredibles on DVD use the coupon and pay $14.99, rather than skip buying it all together because they don't want to pay $24.99 for a catalogue title.

Just print it out and use it. I would bet Disney knows a percentage of people are doing it with out having owned it. If they cared you would have to send in the proof of purchase or some other way to prove you have it in hand.

Or in my case they could have made the UMD disc work, but it seems Disney also thinks that the UMD format is pointless.

Ummm... not to burst anyone's bubble, but... the "Magic DVD code" is nothing more than the UPC number. It's freely available on amazon, ebay, or by googling the disc title.

Disney knows that half the people who download the coupon don't own the DVD. All they REALLY care about is getting people to sign up & register their email with the rewards program.

I own it on dvd so I feel I could use the link if I want. But I just typed in the UPC code when I logged in to my account on DMR. This now looks like it'll be worth it. Probably pick up this and new Foo Fighters cd at Target.

There's never a good reason to cheat anyone be it a person or a company.

I don't feel as sorry for a corporation as I do an individual... but justifying cheating makes no sense.

I am unemployed and have no money... so that means I can rob a bank, right? They have lots of spare money... so it's ok.
