Thanks man. I use to own a 32" Sony Wega as well. I remember when I bought it, I thought it was the coolest thing. The heaviest TV I've ever owned. Sold it and bought a Sony 32" LCD 2 years ago and then this year I upgraded to 42" Sharp and moved the Sony LCD to the bedroom. I had to go with the Bose Cinemate HT for now because the Panny Surround System I had for the past 6 years used to get me in a lot of trouble with the landlord. I found the Bose Cinemate is perfect for an apartment but it's the first thing getting upgraded when I buy a house next year.

I had a 36" vega...... Talk about HEAVY!!!!!

The wife and I are looking at new homes right now..... and I've 86'd a couple of houses because the dedicated theater room wasn't big enough....... we have an agreement........ She gets the house she wants as long as it has ONE ROOM that I can have my way with! Our current house's basement is only partially finished, and I can't put the money into making it a theater since we're planning on purchasing a new home in the next year or so.

I have a very modest T.V., and it won't get upgraded because I want to get a projector when a new home is found. Audio-wise, I'm all set.

looks like he's working with what he has..... from that picture, it doesn't look like there is a decent wall-space to hang the t.v.

I'd still move the speakers down though!!!

TV mount height is perfect considering the distance we sit. As far as the speakers, also no issue- you don't want your speakers to be at ear level, you'll miss out on separation. That setup will rock your socks- especially with that bodacious Supercube

Oh, and Beta Man is right- considering my wood stove was priority, and I had to work my minimal wall space. It beats having my old DLP in a corner will all the wires! :-)

I suck at taking pictures.. Looks much better than the pics make it out to be. Well aside from the wire mess. I'll get it cleaned up eventually, just moved recently and haven't finalized plans for everything. Looks so empty without my sub

Display: Sony 60" 1080p 120hz SXRD (60A3000)
Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR805 130x7 HDMI THX yada yada
Speakers: Energy Reference Connoisseur RC-30's amd RC-10's in cherry
Subwoofer: shopping around, probably get an SVS, HSU or Epik

Question. I want to get a 120hz screen. Do you lose that functionality when using HDMI switching with your Onkyo 805. I have the same receiver.

Thanks
