wow congrats - since mine was cancelled it can no longer be un-cancelled, Amazon is now gonna ship me a FREE one from one of the Sellers, but I'll believe that when it's in my hands.
Did not ask for a free one, they said Reps can't just cancel without customer permission, we'll see what happens. I had one in my cart on ebay today, did a best offer, when he counter-offered it was only another 5 bux and by the time I was gonna click "Buy" someone beat me to it..God (or Satan?) doesn't want me to own this set.. |

I was a little surprised. Seems like it's been a roller coaster ride with all the info, I didn't know what to expect. Funny thing is I originally had both the UK set and the US set preordered. Decided to cancel the UK set and go with the US...then at the last minute got cold feet and placed a second order for the UK then cancelled the US. I need a drink! ![]() |

I would call the Hellraiser III framing issue barely noticeable - it's only really problematic for one, arguably two, short scenes and the image remains fully intact. I like Hellraiser more than House, but this is an actual distortion of the image for a long time. Arrow really should be fixing this one. With such a small run how many would they actually end up replacing? It'd buy a lot of good will for a relatively cheap fix. But there doesn't seem to be much of a stink being made about it from anyone. Last edited by tinnytim; 05-12-2017 at 01:42 PM. |

Once could argue that the misframing of Hellraiser 3 is during the whole movie, and is so bad that during selected shots, I definitely and noticeably shows about misframed it is.
(In opposite, I'd tend to say that there is much less issue with House 1 misframing (for instance) because of how less this misframing reveals.) Following this logic, the 30 minutes faint line on the side of the frame is less of an issue that the issue during a whole movie. (just my 2 cents) |

Given the limited edition nature of this release, it is possible that the licensor only allowed a set number of copies to be pressed, which Arrow has already met. I would imagine a re-press (even to correct an error) would require a re-negotiation, which would make a fix potentially very expensive.

These numbers actually should be about the same, minus any additional slots for replacement copies (lost products, scratched discs and stuff).
This being said, it doesn't prevent any replacement if the product is proven to be faulty. We've even had the case in France where OOP titles were re-pressed because the original batch were affected by a rot syndrom. |

I have problems with my House pre order on amazon.co.uk aswell, I got a message saying that they don't know when it will be dispached because they run out of copies. Of course I sent them an email with a HUGE complain. Do they over sell items or what? I want my copy no matter what!

For the record, I'm not defending either of the errors, just pointing out which hinders my viewing experience more. |

The unfinished sculpture was visible because of the improper framing. I'm saying, with the exception of two quick shots, the improper framing in Hellraiser III is hardly noticeable to me unless I'm specifically thinking about it. When improper framing manages to grab my focus is when something is visible in the frame that clearly shouldn't be or when part of the image is cut off.
