Well color me disappointed. I'm sure those features will be fantastic, but the season two special "From One Generation to the Next" was a really great little special made for the second season, which I fear will be lost to obscurity forever.

Man, I wonder if there are any other extened episodes. An extended BoBW would be awesome (they could put it as a full 2hr movie on an extras disk for season 4--if such a thing existed).

I love stuff like this. BSG has a handful of extenededs as well.

there is a 90 minute(or so) version of it because it was released overseas as a movie and when part 2 was shown for the first time, it was as a 2 hour tv movie with part 1. granted there wasn't really any extra footage, just went straight from the end of part 1 to the beginning of part 2 with the music adjusted so it didn't end. i have always been surprised that episodes like that were never released in North America as feature length episodes like Farpoint and All Good Things.

I'm talking about extra footage, like if they filmed the battle of Wolf 359 but never finished it so never broadcasted it. That kinda thing.

Agreed. The BG for that season 2 insert is messy looking - darkening it or reframing it would help.

I wondered that myself. Kinda doubt it because it lists HD EE as well. Maybe there was some sort of prologue or something of the like that was shot on tape and thus couldn't be transferred to HD.

That made me think of the episode promos. Did they not record the announcers dialogue well enough to put in HD? lol

Yikes! Amazon's price went up to 114.99. Way more then season 1 ever was, and it's got 6 less episodes.

Thanks. I don't have a clean frame yet with no tractor beam, phaser beam or fireball because I took it from the S2 trailer. But there is a later shot when Picard calls for a conference and I'm hoping to use that once I have the set.

Doesn't matter if the price is $90.95, $114.99, or $10,000.99 right now. It will be much cheaper by release day (at least the same price as the first season), which is the only time that matters.

That would be great, I haven't seen a lot of interviews with her.
