Um, What PS3 model had analogue outs???
I have a 60GB that was bought a month after release and it only has the multi out and HDMI, which all models have had.

Still using the Denon. Plays everything (close to a thousand BDs) and loads so slowly it reminds me of NASA.

Well,... technically... the multi out gives you analog Left and Right audio output.

Not 6 or 8 channel analog output but still ... it's analog output.

I am 100% an Xbox fanboy, but Blu-Ray got me interested in a PS3. I figured if there was an exclusive PS3 game that I was interested in, I would be capable of playing it, which wouldn't be the case if I had a standalone player.
